Stainless steel kitchen roll holder

Nice holder

I bought this to complement my new kitchen, so was very happy to find a kitchen roll holder with a brushed steel finish. For £7.49 my expectations were not high. On opening the box, which arrived with just a label stuck on the outside of the actual product box, I was pleasantly surprised at the weight and feel of it. At first I thought the screw to fix the post to the base was missing, but it was already screwed into the bottom of the post, so as not to lose it. Easy to assemble but you will need a phillips screwdriver to tighten the screw. I'm not sure how long it will remain tight as there are no washers included. Once assembled you then stick the foam pad to the bottom to give it a nice neat finish. At first I thought the 'arm', which holds the end of the roll and stops it unravelling, would only work at the start of the roll and become useless once the roll becomes thinner, then I discovered you can easily bend it inwards as the roll shrinks, then bend it back out again for a fresh new roll. I would have been happy just to have the base and post for this price, but this extra bit might help the roll look tidier on the worktop. In conclusion, nice finish, good weight, easy assembly and holds a kitchen roll which is all I wanted it to do. Great value for money and would recommend. Hope you found this helpful :)

Looks good but when you lift the roll out the holder comes with it and you need to put it together again!

This is really good for the price and the bar makes it easier to tear off a sheet. Its well made and easy to put together

Ich bin absolut zufrieden mit diesem Papierrollenhalter! Ruck-Zuck sind nach der prompten Lieferung die gelieferten Teile auch schon zusammen geschraubt und der fertige Halter auch schon an seinem entsprechend leicht zugänglicher Platz aufgestellt. Die Verarbeitung ist bei dem Preis überraschend hochwertig und stabil – er wackelt kaum und selbst beim kräftigen Abreißen bleibt so weit alles sicher stehen (siehe Video). Besonders überzeugt hat mich die robuste Metallstange, die der Rolle einen festen Halt gibt. Der Halter ist schnell einsatzbereit, die Papierrolle lässt sich unkompliziert wechseln, und man hat das Papier immer griffbereit. Auch optisch macht er einen sehr guten Eindruck und passt super in meine Werkstatt bzw. auf den Schreibtisch. Die seitliche Stange hatte ich mir auch vorsichtig ein klein wenig zurecht gebogen, damit diese auch noch als Papier Stopper beim Abriss hält, sobald die Rolle annähernd wieder am Ende angelangt ist. Dann ist mir noch eingefallen, ich könnte doch einmal versuchen den neuen Halter auch mit der übergroßen Rolle zu bestücken und was soll ich sagen, auch wenn diese nich zu 100 % passt und an der Bodenplatte etwas übersteht, funktioniert es immer noch einwandfrei. Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung – genau so sollte ein Papierrollenhalter sein!

Det är irriterande att behöva stoppa tillbaka papper bakom stången. För en oteknisk person som jag tar det tid att komma på hur hållaren ska monteras. Utförligare instruktion skulle underlätta.
