If you're just a beginner, which I am, this is the one book that realy takes you step by step through the process to figure out how to do this kind of painting...I haven't gotten started with the actual painting yet but I now have the confidence that I'll be able to figure it out! And I'm excited to try doing this....

A great book with lots of instructions and projects. Good photos and illustrations of this "one-stroke" technique!

I bought this book thinking I would finally learn some new techniques, such as how get a 3-D effect using one-stroke. But like most of Donna's books, there is a lot of repeated material, so "all new" is misleading. The only "new" part of the book is a few projects that you can do -- once you buy the new Plaid products required! So, there's very little to learn from in this book. And, one problem I have with Donna: her step-by-step directions on how to do things often do not lead to the finished product displayed. I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who can provide some better one-stroke instruction.

Product came in great condition and on time. I'm very satisfied and very likely order more from this seller. The book is truly a great book and full of designs and ideas.They're very easy to imply. I've already used some of them and it looks just like the picture in the book.

This is an excellent self teaching book. Donna shows you some examples all of us beginners make and then how to fix them. Easy patterns to follow. This book will help the beginner feel more confident in learning new brush strokes

I borrowed this book from my local library and I liked it so much I had to purchase a copy for myself. There are lots of different projects topaint and I set out to paint everything in sight. I usually make birthday cards with one-stroke painting but with the help of this bookpainted plant pots, coasters, boxes etc. I am a fan of Donna Dewberry, I have a few of her books and with a bit of practice found it quite easy to paint flowers.

The book is full of ideas and techniques for one stroke painting on many different surfaces. I will use it over and over.

I haven't found a book of hers I didn't like yet. I had seen that someone had bought one of these at a garage sale, so i searched for it on Amazon and was glad I found it!!! Lots of Projects and ideas for one stroke

More than half of book is devoted to project ideas. A shame cause I would've liked more techniques, product info etc. I wanted to use this for face painting technique as many face painters do - she is big in the facepainting world - but there were no examples of this. Her projects like painting a tray and mail box were of no use to me. The section at the beginning until page 74 was very good though.

I have a couple of books of Donna which are really good as you can see the finish product.So I was exacted to get her book but when I received it I was so desapoint as the pictures are black and white no color so is hard to see how the picture looks after her explanation.I will most likely returned the book as is was not a cheap book to be black and white.
