Exam Ref 70-533 Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions

Working with the May 2018 objectives, the 2nd edition of this book is a decent reference. However, you absolutely need to supplement your studying with other material as the book will completely skip over many exam objectives. Many other areas opt for the lazy route of just giving you a URL to the official Azure docs.Since there is no single great piece of study material, I'd recommend combining this book with Scott Duffy's Udemy course, the official docs, and plenty of hands-on practice.

1 chapter in and NONE of the steps in azure they list exist anymore, 100% useless data. Trying to see if I can get a refund.

Excellent book, well laid out, a great resource to study for the 70-533.

Good preparation for the exam. However, you also need to supplement with other material such as the Microsoft KB article's and hands-on experience.

It's helping me along towards the taking the exam and has a good amount of detail. I am learning a lot from this book. The code examples can be a little hard to work out sometimes though because they seem to be cumulative rather than all-inclusive. For example, when showing you the code to deploy a VM from a machine image you created earlier, it isn't at first clear that the code block isn't the full code to deploy the new VM, it's just an additional bit of code that specifies which image to use and you need to still figure out and use other commands with it that you learned earlier to complete the deployment.

This is without doubt the best official MS study guide I've seen since the MCITP 2008 R2 era of exams. The quality of the books took a nose dive but this one is very good and has plenty of detail.

I didn't realise how thick this book was going to be - 500 pages of really detailed info. Really useful for anyone studying for their Azure exams.

brief and simple layout too much powershell though.Good book , would prefer a hard copy.cost about twenty five pounds.
