Decent batteries and a good quantity if you have many smoke detectors
Between the smoke detectors in my home and several digital keypads that require 9 volt batteries it seem like I am always changing batteries. Every time I go to the store and pick up a package of "2" and see the price I have sticker shock. It also seems that I am doing that all too often. There is also the annual changing of the batteries in my smoke detectors which is a wallet draining experience. So when I saw that 12 pack available I decided it made sense to buy in bulk. The batteries work just as well as any others I have ever purchased and now I have them on hand for when I need them. Also the quantity isn't so large as to have them go bad because they sit around too long. Now these 9 volt batteries aren't "cheap" by any measure, but they are less expensive as compared to the way I was purchasing, so I am saving in the long run.
