If you have the old style DeWalt cordless tools with the horrible battery design good news! With this adapter you can use the new batteries with your old tools. Yes it makes the tool a little bulkier but on my DeWalt saws it works great and you hardly notice the extra bulk. When using it on drills it does allow the drill to stand up but it adds to the size so I only use this on my larger drills .The adapter itself is light but does the job. Do far its been very durable and I just leave it on when I'm not using the tool. Prefect way to resuscitate your old DeWalts and save some money to buy some more.

I was given a Milwaukee off-brand cordless paint sprayer and I have DeWalt tools but no Milwaukee batteries, I used this adapter with a DeWalt flexvolt battery on the Milwaukee tool that I was given and it works just fine and feels nice and solid battery clicks in well and it clicks to the device well Good product.

I use all cordless Dewalt tools, but I love the Makita palm router. Now I don't need Makita batteries or charger. Makes my tool 1 inch taller, and changes center of gravity on my palm router, but I love it.

Use this adapter to run several Sears tools with DeWalt batteries without any problems. Have bought 3 in total.
