Oh, we are so glad to have ordered these! We have a corkscrew that's part of a set a friend gifted us. We love to use it but it was becoming SO hard to get corks loose from the corkscrew after opening a bottle! Husband installed one of these and "Voila!" bottles open easily and the cork comes right off the corkscrew, no pulling, tugging or fighting with it! Smooth and easy. Two thumbs up!

Keep your rabbit or other cork extractor working smoothly with a new corkscrew spiral once cork extraction starts to become difficult or way too muscular! Changing the corkscrew spiral refreshes the ease of extracting corks - and we know since we extract one cork per evening, which gives us about six months of cork pulls between changes.

The Teflon or non-stick coating wears off with use, especially if the corks are synthetic material, or are from glued-together cork pieces. Periodic replacement is necessary to keep the puller working easily.

As the wine opener corkscrews age, their friction increases making uncorking the bottle and removing the cork from the screw more difficult. A new screw restores performance, as these did, and is extremely simple to install (10 seconds). Happy with purchase.

These are just what I needed, they are great tools for the wine opener and the price is excellent. Even my local Total Wine did not carry them. But them, instead of a new corkscrew. And a tip I learned, only use them on real corks, not the "newer almost plastic like corks: as these tend to bend the spirals.

I love my wine opener from Houdini, but was not about to pay the prices houdini charges to replace this piece. They last a while too so these 3 should last some time.

The corkscrew was simple to install and enabled my opener to be good as new. It saved my $120 wine opener.

We bought these replacement corkscrews because ours had become a bit harder to use. Now our wine opener is a breeze to operate again, with the corkscrew extracting the cork with very little effort.

Despite the seller stating in their Q&A section that this fits the LeCreuset screwpull corkscrew it does not. Closer inspection on the comments section shows the seller must be aware of this issue and the review section shows this as a common complaint.Appalling seller and useless product that is knowingly mis-sold. Waste. Of. Time.

A: yes it does - simple to fit and works much better now the corkscrew has a non-stick coating again.

Dreadful product. Fits rabbit corkscrew, but in use the spiral just slides out of the cork without moving it let alone pulling it out. Total waste of money, do not buy.

Great stocking filler for anyone with the corkscrew plunger. I probably break 1 of these every 10 months or so. Definitely worth a few quid.
