You will want to adjust the beater angle by changing the pedal rotational settings a click or two back towards you. Once you do that you will likely need to change the spring tension a little to compensate. Once you do that it will work fine. I used this on my e-drum to replace the kick tower i hated. I glued a $15 trigger on it. It works fine with my double bass pedal setup.

Did not work perfectly for me out of the box. The angle of the beaters was such that the distance from the pad to the beaters was very short (about 2 inches). I had to bend the metal 'stems' so that there could be a greater travel distance that felt much more natural to play. Once I did that, this practice pad worked great.

There's about a half inch of clearance from the beater head to the pad how am I supposed to play that way when there's no travel? Even after spring adjustment there's not enough travel so I don't know how this is supposed to work so far I'm not too thrilled.

I tried another setup but it took up too much space. It was a quality product just too large. Drumeo’s is compact and well made.

Is only the mallets and metal plate, and soft pads. Great product, wayy too pricey.
