What are the dimensions of the base face? I want to put an engraving on it and want to have it complete before it arrives.

The full base front is 4x4 inches. The plate would basically be 3.76 x 3.76 or so but wait until you get it to make the plate. If you reach out to us we can do a plate for you.

I want the top to go on a trophy, I’ll buy it in its entirety but I guess my question how is it secured to the stand?

It's glued but they have a notch that extends from the bottom of the EGA. It's pretty big so it would need to be a really big trophy.

Is it possible to get just the eagle globe and anchor portion without the base?

On this particular item it is all one piece. The base is attached.
