I like it. It's solid, has a strong action, and is a good size. Very unlikely an actual Browning.
This is a solid knife for under $20. The spring is strong, there are no uncomfortable edges on the handle like on a lot of cheap knives, and it feels well-made. Unfortunately, the blade is 7Cr17 steel, which is okay at best, but it should be good enough for people using the knife casually and not daily or hard. For a genuine EDC knife, spend more and research the types of steels that will hold up to rigorous use. One other negative is the seat belt "cutter" on mine came with a nasty burr and would struggle to cut anything. It would need to be properly beveled and sharpened to be functional. This is just one of many knives I have so I'm happy with it for $17.The not so cool part is the Browning logo and name put onto the blade and the box, as this is unlikely to be a genuine Browning-licensed product.

Large and sturdy for a folding knife.
Labeled as Yerdchts arrives as browning. It looks like a browning; does it really matter? The knife is great, it opens and locks with a single push on the knob. The grip is solid and ergonomic and doesn't slip around in your hand. When opened this is a big knife, it is heavy and feels solid. Now about the blade. The shape is elegant and perfectly formed. The grind is smooth and clean resulting in a sharp even edge. The taper toward the edge will make this very easy to sharpen in the future and allow it to last a very long time. This knife is under $20. This is a knife worthy of twice that amount and worthy of 5 stars at that price. The lower than 5-star reviews for this item seem to be more geared towards the listing and not the actual item. I was very pressed when this arrived and glad to have it. I think you will be to.

Mixed Feelings: Yerdchts/Browning Folding Knife Review
My experience with the Yerdchts/Browning Folding Knife has been a mix of highs and lows, making it a bit of a double-edged tool, so to speak.Let's start with the positives. The knife is undeniably sturdy, and the locking mechanism instills confidence. When the blade is engaged, it feels secure and dependable, promising durability for various cutting tasks. The handle is well-designed, offering a comfortable grip that feels good in the hand, making it suitable for extended use. However, a notable drawback is the sharpness of the blade. Despite the promising appearance and build quality, the blade falls short in terms of sharpness. This may require additional sharpening before the knife is truly ready for precision cutting tasks.Adding to the confusion is the branding discrepancy. Advertised as a Yerdchts product, the blade prominently features the Browning logo. This mismatch might raise eyebrows and leave users questioning the authenticity or origins of the knife. Clearer branding would undoubtedly enhance the overall user experience.

Excellent quality knife
This is a high quality and durable knife. The Browning brand appears on the knife and blade, so I assume this knife was made for them. It is very sharp and it can be opened quickly with just the flick of a thumb or finger. Once opened the blade locks in place and it is about 9" in length. On the end there is a nub to shatter glass with, a hook blade to cut line and a clip for belt attachment. The knife and clip make it relatively thin and is therefore easy to carry in a pocket. The blade and body are treated with some type of process for durability and rust prevention (they call it a stone wash process). The product page indicates there is a lanyard hole but this is somewhat misleading. There is a small hole in blade but if a cord attaches to it, then the blade will not extend. It's not an issue though since I don't see the need for a lanyard attachment anyway. Overall, this is a excellent, durable and high quality knife. It is a little larger but not overly so, and it has a lot of versatility. The fit and feel are great and I highly recommend this knife.

Well Made and Comfortable in the Hand
This knife is absolutely worth the sub-$20 price. It has a very good feel in the hand with comfortable handle scales. The blade is very sharp with a very nice edge grind. The finish of the blade is even and smooth. The pocket clip is not deep carry, but I can't ding that on such a low cost knife and it does retain the knife quite well in your pocket. Also, the blade centering on mine is off just a touch...but again, I can't ding that either on any knife that is under $50, let alone under $20 as it does not at all effect function or usability. That is only a consideration on knives that are collectible and expensive. this is a daily use knife and very acceptable in all aspects. The blade shape is also quite usable with a strong tip. Add the seatbelt/wire/cord cutter and glass breaker and you really have a good usable every day use knife. Just be aware that the blade length is over 3.5", so it may not be legal to "conceal carry" it in your pocket in certain jurisdictions....I don't think the inch of it that sticks out of your pocket will qualify as "non-concealed" if the majority of it is down inside your pocket...so beware of that. Overall, I really like it and would pay this low price any day.

Poor quality steel. Not sharp out of the package.
This is made from cheap steel. I managed to get a nice edge on the main blade fairly easily, but after only one day of carrying and light use it already needed to be sharpened again. The seat belt cutter is completely useless. The blade lock gets stuck in place if pressure is applied when cutting. It’s very difficult to get it to release so that the blade can be folded again. I carried this knife for three days, and found that using it was annoying at times due to these issues. I think for the price it’s not a terrible knife if you don’t mind having to sharpen it daily. I just really wouldn’t recommend it for every day carry if you plan to use it much at all. I really wanted to like this knife… I don’t hate it. I just can’t say I like it, or that I’d recommend it.
