Is this similar to cetaphil?

I've used both the Cetaphil and the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. They are very similar with regards to having adequate cleansing properties (i.e. both would clean your skin), aren't oil-stripping, so your face won't feel 'squeeky clean' and your skin won't feel dry or dried out. The CeraVe is more cost-effective for me, personally, as the 355-mL bottle of CeraVe is priced at £2.90/100 mL and the Cetaphil price at Boots pharmacies (at the moment) is £3.81/100 mL.Regarding the differences between the two cleansers, the CeraVe definitely has more of a slip and is less bothersome to use in immediate proximity to the eyes and can be used to wash your eyes, without being left with a film (the 'clouded vision effect') after cleansing, which is something I definitely do get with the Cetaphil one, if I were to wash my eyes with it. Keep in mind, however, neither would actually sting your eyes. I do, personally, prefer the CeraVe one, not only for its better value, but also as an overall cleansing experience. In case I hadn't made it clear, I would continue to repurchase the CeraVe one over the Cetaphil one. Hope this aids you in deciding which cleanser to go for.

Does it say facial cleansee over the label?

The product I received had the same label as pictured, however i last ordered it from amazon approx 18 months ago as it was not sold where I live at that time. The product I received was exactly as pictured except the pump was totally white - it did not have a green part at the base of the pump.

Can this Cleanser be used by itself without any moisturisers after?

Depends entirely on the needs of your skin type. This is a cleanser so it will clean dirt and excess oil from your skins surface (as a second cleanse) or remove make up (as a first cleanse). It won't leave your skin feeling 'stripped' and dry but it's not designed to add any moisture either. I'd recommend following with a toner then the Cerave PM moisturising lotion as a lovely lightweight option which hydrates without leaving your skin looking shiny. Hope that helps.
