Stunning Quality at a Budget Price!
I bought this lens for my MFT cameras because I've been happy with another twice as expensive 35mm f0.95 lens which I bought for my Sony E mount APS-C cameras. Oh boy, was I impressed by the quality of this Brightin Star lens! It totally exceeded my expectation in every way. Build quality is top notch with the only exception being the aperture ring not staying in the clicked slots very well (too much play). As to picture quality, I will let the attached pictures do the talking. All shots were taken wide open at f0.95. Update: Having watched a few reviews of this lens on YouTube where no one mentioned about the excessive play on the aperture ring, I decided to try another copy of this lens. And I now have a copy that is equally good optically, and mechanically perfect as well. I should take one star off for the quality control issue on the aperture ring but the optical quality of this lens is so good and the price is so low. I'd feel like a jerk if I did that. This company deserves a five star rating!

A most surprising lens
This lens represents an outstanding value for money. Certainly, it is a niche lens. Enabling creative images in a variety of circumstances. Useful at f0.95 as well as f5.6. At f0.95, you will get very soft images however, if your subject is in the center of the frame, the lens can produce surprising results. Shooting landscapes? Use the lens at f5.6 and you can get a very sharp image with little effort. Shooting portraits? F1will give a very shallow depth of field with a 'dreamy' look that can be very pleasing. I've been surprised with how well controlled CA is. I haven't really pushed the lens with high contrast images, but what I've seen so far has been outstanding. Especially given the modest cost of this lens. Attached is an example of an image taken at f0.95. This image and review is based on usage with a M43 (Olympus E-M5 mark Iii) camera.

Decent build quality but bad optics
Lens built very well (one star for build quality), but optical performance is extremely bad. Lens produces very soft images with really heavy CA. Lens is practically useless. Not recommending.

Such a fun lense
The rare f stop allows for heavy natural bokeh. Perfect for taking dramatic shots of people. There is no zoom but limitations can increase creativity. I have a lot of fun with this lens.

Great
Great lens on my Lumix GX1. Solid and weighty alternative to my 20mm pancake and 45mm 1.8. Focus ring is nicely dampened and works well with focus peaking and MF assist. Fun wide open for low light or bokeh. Brings me back to my first 35mm Minolta XG7 in terms of slower and thoughtful process.
