Q: How much weight can the mound hold? (ie: can a coach of 230 lbs safely walk on it or should they only stand off to the side?)

This mound is made out of fiberglass.. the same thing bathtubs are made out of. 230 lbs will not harm it.

Q: What is the length from the rubber to the far edge?

40 inches from the front of the rubber to the far edge.

Q: Can you use cleats on it?

I would not recommend cleats. They won’t penetrate the turf covered fiberglass, and would likely have less stable footing. My son uses his New Balance Baseball Turf Shoes on this mound and they work great.
