Great book for rotations and step review. Goes along w his videos

US MD student here - This book changed my life on clerkships. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a way to improve their performance on any of their core clerkships. I know Boards and Beyond isn't really slept on by medical students, but this book might be; it's phenomenal when used along with the videos. I swear this book hasn't left my side since purchasing it. My only potential regret is not buying the spiral bound version.

Overall, it is swift to read and helpful when answering questions. I tried using it for my shelf setting, and it didn’t wasn’t as beneficial as I thought it would be. I think it’s missing some more algorithms. It’s very general, which I think is good if you kinda need an overall picture or concept, but I think I tried using it for different shelves from OB and pediatrics, and it just did not have enough content and was kind of vague on that your subsequent treatment so hopefully it’s more beneficial for step

I found this to be a great clerkship resource, essentially the STEP2 equivalent of First Aid.

Has all the tópics essential for step 2 step ck.

I paid full price for a new copy to get one that has erased pencil scribbles in it.

Great choice. Excellent coverage of material in a very concise format.

I ordered a copy that had damage to the cover (slimy stuff dried on the front cover with scratches and indentations like they tapped a pen point on it, back cover was bent) and pages (dog-eared pages ).Returned for replacement and second copy also came with scratches, edges of front cover starting to peel and binding bent back like it was dropped on the binding edge).For $63, I would have expected the book to come in better condition. I know it's going to get worn with use, but it's not ideal for it to start off already a bit worn.

Study

This book is excellent.My only regret is I didn't purchase it sooner.It's set out nicely. Goes along with the videos well.I'm now using it as my main study source along with questions.
