Okay for the price, but could have better QC
Bought to replace a brass coloured set on our hand rail, thought it would be a nice straight swap but they appear to be a bit lax with alignments, as you can see in the photos the holes are aligned differently to the right angle in each one. Which meant re-drilling holes for each in the supporting baton. (One photo shows the tops aligned, the other shows the holes aligned)Strong and sturdy, nice finish to the material.

Ok brackets DO NOT USE SUPPLIED FIXINGS
Bought unsurprisingly to attach a banister rail to the stairs, bottom half of the wall was brick, top half plasterboard. The actual brackets are ok, nothing fancy but seem sturdy enough, however the fixings that came with the brackets are absolutely useless. I used the appropriate plugs in pre drilled holes, but the first screw sheared off without being fully tightened. Putting this down to bad luck I persevered but had another go exactly the same way. Deciding to cut my losses I tried taking out the screws that had gone in, only to have half of them snap off in the wall, these are seriously the flimsiest fixings I have ever used, and I'm now left scratching my head as to how I'm going to get six sheared off screws out of the wall without causing too much more carnage! If you do buy invest in different screws.I'm giving two stars as the brackets seem okay, but as yet been able to test them under daily use due to the issues described.

Wrong Dimensions & Bad Packaging
Purchased Set of 2 Satin Chrome Handrail Brackets. They are Sturdy and appear well made although I don't think they are stainless steel and the dimensions listed are incorrect.Top saddle plate width is 20mm not 29mm & it's length is 53mm not 63mm.Bottom rose plate diameter is 55mm not 63mm.Projection to centre is 75mm not 65 & aprrox 81mm from the wall. They also arrive in a plastic bag with no added protection and not the box pictured, so came with digs & marks. Not impressed so returned.

Great value and quality
I bought these to support a bannister rail for a short, steep and narrow staircase, since they project up to an inch less from the wall than any others I could find. They are beautifully made and finished, and despite their strength they are also elegant. I've knocked a star off 'ease of fitting' simply because, as others have mentioned, the screws provided are soft and in my view need to be a heavier gauge. I chose to over-drill the holes and countersinks and used 45mm x 5 screws. This may be overkill for some, but I was mounting them on an old stone wall, and need the rail for support. I would certainly buy these again and recommend both them, and the seller whose service was excellent

Handrail brackets
I needed to get some some brackets urgently for an additional staircase handrail. We are both shielding and unable to go out and buy any. Found these on Amazon and they looked OK. As usual with Amazon arrived on time. Found the brackets for be very robust and weighty and not a cheep version. Spent yesterday fitting the handrail and have to say it is better than expected. Screws were supplied but I did use longer ones to plug into the wall. Have no hesitation in buying these again.

Sturdy and solid
Didnt fancy paying £8 plus for a single bracket in a well known DIY retailer so bought these. For the price they are really sturdy and look good. Have only used 2 so far. My only peeve is the screws are flat head and a bit on the short side hence 4 stars. I used longer phillips head screws to mount on the wall to ensure a solid fix and phillips head of the same length to fix to the handrail.

Good brackets. Screws made of cheese.
Good brackets let down by poor quality screws. My advice is to keep the brackets but throw out the screws and replace them with better quality screws. You could take the screws to somewhere like Screwfix and tell them that you want the same style (not a Phillips head) , but not made of cheese.

rail bracket
nice rounded shape fits fairly well and seems sturdy enough fairly happy so far with the one that I used one I couldn't uses as it was cut slightly differently leaving a bit of a lip which I couldn't get it to sit right on the rail but as I have said previous i only needed the one bracket so it was ok for the price
