I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and size of these. However, one mat was shorter than the others. It looks like the hem on one side of it is wider than the others thus it is a shorter mat and this is why I rated it 4-stars rather than 5. It really isn’t a problem though. They are very thick nice looking and I am enjoying them. I will hand wash only in Coldwater and never put them in the dryer so they won’t shrink.

I ordered 12 of these. When the box arrived, I received surgical supplies for a stomach wound. I envisioned a robber getting shot, unable to go to the hospital waiting for his supplies and getting my place mats. (I was truly concerned about that.) My husband made two trips (14 miles two times) to UPS to return these because Amazon gave wrong instructions on how to return someone else's supplies. On the upside, they gave me a nice credit to use. (A big thank you for that.) Now back to the review....They are thick and long (except one was 3" shorter than the rest) and when chocolate milk spilled on one, I quickly got it up with a wet cloth. I keep my table set all the time since the Pandemic started. I sometimes use a medium gray tablecloth with these mats, and sometimes just the wood. They look nice with pewter plates as well. I don't plan to put these in the washing machine since they are braided with loose stitching....wouldn't be prudent. Glad I purchased these for a farmhouse look in a log cabin.

I’m really happy with these place settings. They are nice and thick and easy to clean. Love the various blues and white. My black kitchen table top leaves white marks whenever you set something hot on it (which then takes a couple days or so to fade) These are thick enough that I don’t have that problem when placing a hot drink or plate on them.

Very good looking. I use them under lamps on my tables.

Purchased Blue 1....the first blue color on chart. Very pleasant, subtle blend of white, dark blue and light blue. As a place mat for dog bowls, it is thick to cushion ceramic bowls and made of cotton for easy odor release when washed. Previously had a silicone mat for dog bowl that was soiled by urine and odor wouldn’t wash out...no matter what. Very happy with purchase.

Very thick. Nice color variations, one even has some red fabric woven through it. Great for heavy hot dishes too.

Love my new sturdy ,multi blue stripes ,woven placemats. I didn’t give “ durability “ stars because the matt’s are new. The texture adds an interesting visual to my glass table top. I could not find such beautiful placemats locally. I’m really pleased with this purchase. The price was very reasonable for six colorful, sturdy, and large placemats! ❤️

Just what I was looking for to compliment my dark blue table runner.
