I ordered one red, blue and green Moroccan candle holder lamps. They are very nice, especially for around $7. Was packaged very nice and secure. I had zero broken pieces as i opened the box. Only turn off is the big "Made in China" stamped on the box, but at this point, everything seems to be made in China. I was worried they would be junk at that point but was very pleased with the quality of each lamp. For the price and for what they are, its not a big deal to me. These lamps were about as tall as a 20 oz bottle of coke. Perhaps 3 times the width. I read many reviews about how small these are. While they aren't huge, i found them to be a nice size and a little bigger than i expected from certain reviews. They are nice for a hanging lamp, a centerpiece for your table or even a decent decoration for your deck or outdoor areas. They add a different style than the normal boring candle holders most of us have. I ordered a few just to make sure i liked them and now that i know, i will be ordering several more for my decks and living room. Adds some mood lighting for if you have a "lady friend" over to watch a movie. It's not distracting when you light a candle in it. It's just right.

What a gorgeous blue! Really loved the color and it went perfectly with my peacock theme. I bought these as part of the centerpieces at my wedding. They were a nice size to go with the pecan branches and candle votives I had. One I unwrapped did seem to be a little bent outward at the top of the doorway, but with a little push it did close just fine. The glass was nice. The metal is pretty thin and looks a touch cheap, but from a short distance that really isn't noticeable. Wish they sold the individuals in purple (they came in the lot ones, but my colors were blue, green and purple to go with the peacock theme, so the red and orange colors really didn't go), but otherwise I was pretty happy with the price and product. I would say, they are worth the purchase, just make sure you don't pay more than $10/each! I've seen them on other sites for way too much, so watch out for people who want to rob you blind. I might just keep one or two of these for myself :)

Came well packed in a box within a box. The inner box said "Made in China." The glass came as inserts bubble wrapped and need to be fitted into place. The glass has some white scrollwork lines painted on them. The bottom sits on 3 small metal balls, and I would have prefered 6 for stability. There is a row of venting on the bottom rim, and just above the glass as well, plus lots of scrollwork on the dome. You have to be careful how you carry this lantern as the swivel top is held on by 2 rivets which look unlikely to safely hold its weight with a flaming candle in it. Plus the heat of the candle can go straight up to where you might put your fingers. The whole lantern is made of either thin tin or aluminum, spray painted white. So, it is not sturdy, and mine had some paint runs and imperfections. The metal is pieced together not by folding and overlapping, but by placing pieces side by side and then spot welding them together with smaller than fingernail rectangles of metal on the inside. Maybe the paint helps hold it together too. However, if you get this as cheap as I got mine, it can serve several purposes. Don't go expecting long lasting quality however.

I was looking for centerpieces for 9 tables for my daughter's wedding. She wanted lanterns along with flowers. These were of decent quality, size, and cost. One lucky guest from each table went home with one if they sat in the seat with the heart on it. My daughter and son-in-law took their's home with the dancing bride and groom cake topper in it to be a treasured memory of the day. There is enough room inside to hold a large candle or any theme oriented item, flowers, etc. I also received them right away. I did not receive place card / frames from another company 'til the day before the wedding and I sent for them way before these. I want to mention that I did have to assemble some of them but it was easy - popping the glass in and bending the prong on it.

This lantern came EXACTLY as described, which was great for me! I was a little worried about the color description "cobalt blue," as cobalt blue is actually a shade between royal and navy blue. I hoped the lantern glass would be closer to the teal in the picture, and it is--a lovely dark turquoise (teal) color. I am using it as decor on my wall units to complement my collection of articles from around the world, and since my husband is from the Middle East, I am thrilled to have this piece in my home! When considering the dimensions, keep in mind that the 10 1/4" height includes the overall height (to the top of the hanger ring). I would classify this lantern as fairly small, but it is perfect for my needs.

I guess for the price, I should have expected it to be cheaply made, but I had to get pliers and bend the door latch to get it to close. I ordered the Blue Glass lantern but received a multi-colored one. I figured for the price it wasn't worth the effort of returning for the correct one. The hook on the top was completely twisted and bent and I still haven't got it back into shape for fear that if I keep messing with it, it's going to completely break off. Anytime I attempt to open the door and latch, it feels like it's going to fall apart. You can hear every single piece of glass slide around with even the slightest movement. We thought about re-ordering just to get the correct color, but after having it for a few days, we don't feel like it's even worth the cheap listed price.

Well, I really wanted a little lantern. I like working by candle light since it helps me to relax and to focus. I've noticed other reviewers have either loved or hated this lantern, or are in between. So when I bought it I decided if I liked it enough I would buy another. So, first off. Is this lantern pretty in real life? Yes, indeed it is. It really is an elegant little lantern. I bought a few votive candles with glass holders (I plan on reusing the holders myself) to along with this lantern. The flame dancing behind the blue glass is very mellowing, and much less jarring to me than having a lamp on all the time. I also don't have to worry about burning the house down if I accidentally tip the lamp over. (Well my boyfriend worry this will happen, so all the candles I buy have to be enclosed in some type of glass.) I also tested the top par to the lantern to see if it was firm enough to hang. It was. Even when I swung it around in a circle or rocked it back and forth it held pretty firm. Granted, I don't recommend anyone doing this, but if you wanted to hang this lantern up you could. The downside to this lantern however is how it's been built. For some reason the glass panels in mine were very, very loose. Not loose to the point where they would come out, but loose enough I could hear them rattling very easily in the lantern. I was even able to slide several of the panels around very easily with my finger without applying a lot of pressure. Which unfortunately makes the lantern very cheap (well it is, I mean it's like $6 and some change, right?) which was slightly disappointing. On the whole though, I was pleased with my purchase. I did wish the company made an extra effort to make sure the glass panels in the product were secure instead of being able to move around so easily. The blue is a little lighter than the picture shows it to be, but honestly it's still a very pretty lantern considering the price. I love it as a small centerpiece on my table, and I'm planning to purchase another one in the future. It's doesn't cost a lot, and it's great for lighting candles with an extra added layer for protection if you have children or pets in the house. Or if you're like me and tend to accidentally knock things over when you're moving about.

I ordered nine of these glass candle holders in various colored glass and are very pleased with them. I plan to use them as Christmas gifts to several people that I am involved with. I also plan to use them as table decorations for our Christmas Community Chorus concert. We will be honoring our Friends who sponsor our chorus plus also dinner for our chorus members and their families after the concert. These will make a festive table decorations for this dinner. The candle holders are well made with ornate black tin and colored glass inserts and I plan to use the non-flame candles in each one so we do not have to worry about fire. I was so glad I found these beautiful well made Moroccan Lanterns and they will make great gifts this Christmas.
