Everything looked good except missing parts. This might have been a return though I can't say for sure. I did not receive the correct amount of filters. Waiting for a response from seller. I will update review when I get a response on the missing parts issue.Updated reviewThe company responded several times and provided the extra filters the fountain was suppose to have and a few extra.Full.product reviewPackage arrived in good shape. Opened the original somewhat flimsy box (no secondary stronger box). Opened it up and noticed only 1 set of filters. There was no instructions that I saw but I still got it together in short order. The fountain is 100% stainless steel, though somewhat thin but for its purpose good enough. There is only 3 plastic parts, of course the pump shell is plastic and the extension for the water pump to the top piece. I was pleased to see the extension pieces are removable for easy and thorough cleaning. I filled the fountain and plugged it in and it was whisper quite.I thoroughly cleaned the fountain and placed in the dishwasher for a more thorough cleaning to remove any manufacturing film, residue, and any other containment. Will fill in the morning and see what my 3 precious babies think of it. My babies like the fountain.they seem to be drinking more water than before. They seem to like and therefore I do as well.It's is reasonably priced for a nearly all stainless steel fountain, the pump is whisper quite and the water flow is perfect my my kitties. I recommend this fountain as a starter one or an addition one

I have 3 cats, 1 of whom loved to play in the gravity water bowl, emptying out the water within a day or two by splashing in it. Someone told me that's indicative that they want running water, so decided to see if this would solve that problemAnd it does! He still paws at the water, but he doesn't dig at it (probably a combo of the fountain running + the height of the container). And it has benefits! Such as the filter, which helps keep their water clean, whereas the gravity bowl would get dirty with litter and other particles within a day. It probably lasts me 4-5 days with 3 cats. It seems like they are drinking water more often. So pluses all around as far as cat usability!It was easy to put together and parts seem pretty sturdy. Would prefer that the wall power adaptor be flatter? My cats have a habit of trying to knock adaptors out of the wall. Would also have been nice if the wire was braided, as my cats also like to play with wires sometimes. But this wire hasn't given them too much to play with. Just a suggested enhancement. The fountain itself is pretty quiet. Even comes with a little mat (although, given how my cat loves water, mat could be bigger xD)All in all, wish I would've bought this sooner. Would've saved me many a puddles on the floor!

When it arrived I washed and assembled the fountain and filled it with water only to realize a few hours later that it was slowly leaking from the water level window which must not have been properly sealed. I reached out to the support email address provided in the box and they were very kind, had a new fountain shipped to me for free that arrived a few days later. Once again I washed and assembled everything and this time no leaks! So, some pros/cons:- The material is thin, but all the parts except the pump, filters, and the little water level window are metal. Everything is easy to clean.- I haven't had any issues with the pump so far as others have mentioned, but it's only been a few days. The pump is plastic.- It's pretty quiet. The only time we can hear it running is when the water level is low and then the fountain splashes more noisily until you add water.- Can confidently say the support team is very nice and helpful should you have a defective item- The second fountain I received was clearly used. There were water marks on the pieces and the bowl that holds the water had a clear water line mark. I washed everything and it came clean, but that kind of weirded me out.- You do have to purchase replacement pump filters and water filters which should be replaced every couple weeks.In all, it's been kind of a weird experience with this fountain but it works (so far), and my cat is getting used to it. Hopefully in the long run this is a better option for him than the plastic fountains.
