Shea Moisture Curl Stretch Pudding, 12 Oz

I recently did a big chop so I wasn't really expecting stretch as there really was nothing to... Stretch? However, I was intrigued by the red palm oil and cocoa butter and purchased it. I ADORE it. You know when you find THAT product for which YOUR particular hair was waiting? I have no flaking, I put it on right out of the shower after a Shea moisture leave in and use my little Denman brush to fluff the curls. When dry there is no cast, no residue, the curls are defined and extremely soft. I'm natural mostly 3C with some 2C and 4A.If you use oil on top, it will get creamier and white, but it dissolves into your hair. I also have low porosity hair, so when anything penetrates my hair strands I'm excited. I personally think it's the red palm oil (which I also bought for my body) it's SUPER moisturizing! I'll have to wait on figuring out the stretch part, but I'll still use it even if it doesn't because I really love the moisturizing benefit...it was EXHAUSTING trying to find a product to do that. I'm happy with this product.

Very nice product. Works well with other products too. Has a light sweet buttery smell (I mean as in hair butters not cooking). Super thick and moisturizing. Great for twist outs and braid outs. The thing is it doesn’t necessarily make your hair dry with less shrinkage but when you stretch it out it maintains the stretch better

Good product makes curls looks beautiful

I use exactly this one for about 2 years or so. Even though I used shea moisture for 10 years for myself, my daughter and my 2 sons. This particular pudding is good for mixed long curly hair. It leaves no residue, no white flakes, no oily texture, it just helps to get my kiddos curls to stay defined without much of fuzziness. I think I tried most of their products and this particular cream works best for my 2 boys, not for me and my daughter as we have a different hair texture.

If you have type 3 or 4 hair, buy this immediately! This is the BEST product I've ever used to give my curls a defined, stretched look. I use it in my braids and twists, and it makes for a bomb twist out with take down. I usually do use this with another cream that's more fluffy or water based (shea JBCO line or curls bluberry bliss cream), along with a leave in conditioner and some oil. It's absolutely great though, and there's so much product!

This is a great product! But the seller must have had this a long time. I say that because when I finally got a 1.5 wks after it saying being delivered. The packaging was more than 1/2 opened, the top was cracked and the actual sealing to the product was lifted and the product had yellowing on one side where the air started drying and discoloring it.

I used this for a twist out and it left a lot of white residue in my hair. It made my hair kind of “dry” if that makes sense and more “crunchy”. It’s not for me.

This cream works very well for my thick curly hair.. Keeps is moisturized and makes it much easier to manage..
