Why is each miswak wrapped in plastic

To preserve freshness. I think they would be to dry and hard to use if they left they out of plastic.

Do they have an expiration date?

They do but I’ve used mine way after the expiration date and they are fine.

How long do they last in the package?do i store the unopened ones in the fridge?do i haveto store the one in use in water?

Just like a tooth brush, I keep mine in my water glass ( without water )and take one with me to work or dining out. If it dries out soak it for a few minutes.

It says they are distributed by a place in Virginia but it does not say where they were harvested.
