Levi'sMen's 559 Relaxed Straight Jeans (Also Available in Big & Tall)

I am a 51 year old male who is 5’10” and currently an obese 224#. I carry my weight in the rear and stomach. This makes finding a cut of jeans that fits properly a challenge. I used the “Try before you Buy” feature to compare the 550 to this 559. Levi’s has a nice comparison description on their site, but it’s no substitute for wearing a pair. The 550 would have fit me when I was about 19. For anyone who has filled out and carries weight in their thighs, stay away from the 550’s. The 559’s are also a stretchy blend. Almost all cotton, but just enough stretch material to feel nice and give a little. These fit nicely at the waist, not below, and have good room through the leg from top to bottom. I have shorter legs and a longer torso than most men my height, so the 30 inseam fits perfectly with just a bit of break at the bottom, not dragging beneath your heels. I have already bought several pairs in different colors.

I am not sure how the same cut (559) in the same brand jeans can be so different. I bought 2 pair that were different colors and this pair is perfect, but the other was much more snug! These are great!

I have been buying these for years. I have large calves, and need strait leg pants. Tried the 514, but they were too tight. Back to the old 559.

These jeans are very comfortable. There's a lot of room in the crotch for the boys to sit comfortably. I definitely recommend them for big and tall guys for working or relaxing.

I used to wear these jeans exclusively. But I have tried different styles 501s 511s 541 etc.I am 6’1 and 193 lbs. I need a 33 x 34 for 501s. But for these I can wear 32x34. They also have more room in the thigh. The 541s have a little bit too much room in the thigh. also with the stretch now that can accommodate minor weight gain or weight loss.

As I grow older I've come to terms with how I actually look and now am trying g to find the best fit for my body. Figured out my actual size and found d the right fit Jean and Levi's have been the best brand for me.

My husband did not try these jeans on, he just held them up to him and decided they were too long. They are lighter weight than regular Levi's, so probably better suited to spring, summer or fall rather than winter in Colorado. They are good quality Levi is known for.

Make sure you check whether the color you’re choosing has stretch to it. I have a pair of grey ones that fit the best of any jeans I’ve ever owned, but they are NOT stretch. This color has a stretch component and they are just plain too large. If you get a stretchy color, consider ordering a size down

Yes I like them. Yes they fit. Yes I am happy. However, they are darker than the photo and I wanted the colour in the photo. Therefore one star deduction. Going to a Levi’s shop next time.

Perfect jeans, stretchy comfortable waist, loads of room in the legs. Fantastic !

For me the best fitting jeans I have ever wornWide and high on the hip and not to clingy on the legs

OK Product at a reasonable price, but time will tell on quality.

Really comfortable with just right amount of space in the leg for chunky legs like mine.
