Used as an appetizer, good flavor and very tasty!

This packet of salmon is perfectly preserved and tastes wonderful. It is caught wild and preserved by native Eskimos using traditional methods.

I always order smoked salmon for my dad for Christmas. This year Amazon mistakenly sent this to me instead, so I kept it and ordered more for my dad. When I tried it I was surprised at how dry and tasteless it was, so I called my dad and he said his was the same. I am not sure if I ordered same brand last year, but he said it was much better.

It was ok

I had been purchasing smoked salmon from my local neighborhood grocery mart, but they stopped carrying it. I love smoked salmon with garlic and pepper, so this seemed like a good deal. There are 4 4-oz foil packages. They store and ship well, but are packed in a liquid/brine which I was not expecting, and which makes the salmon soft -- I prefer a "jerky" style.

Very nice

This contains way too much salt. I know they put the salt to preserve the fish but I can't taste the smoke flavor because all I'm getting is salt. I ended up adding smoked black pepper to enhance the smoke flavor. For what I paid, I am very disappointed in this salmon.

Good but wasn't enough to know if we enjoyed it or not...we were a little disappointed...
