Good reception everywhere I have taken it. Fits in shirt, pants, and jacket pockets. Have to press buttons twice to “open” it to turn on or off and change stations. Earphones are sturdy and good volume even with 1 in ear

I have many other PRUNUS radios and all have worked well. But I have to admit, for this one the performance definitely leaves a bit to be desired. Although just $13 bucks you may not expect much, but in my book it could have been a bit better. AM is strife with noise - even the local power-house stations have an unusual amount of hash in their signals. Other less powerful stations can be received, but the vocals are unintelligible due to the high noise and muted higher frequencies. The hash seems to be internally generated and is prolific throughout the AM band. FM fared better, it can pick up local stations but requires extremely strong reception to finally kick into stereo. Tonally both low-end and high-end are not present, leaving music just so-so to listen to. On the positive side, the build quality seems good and the size is nice. Overall, I would suggest skipping this one and looking elsewhere for a headphone-based radio.

It picks up the stations clearly and the big numbers and simplicity of it make it easier for my mother to use.

I bought this to listen to a local AM station. My old little radio worked fine, but had broken battery compartment cover. Well, this new radio seems to pick up FM fine and a few local AM Spanish stations weakly, but does not pick up MY station AT ALL. The worse AM reception of any radio I have owned in the past 50 years and of absolutely no vaue to me. I only gave it one star because I could not enter text here with zero stars filled in.
