Initially it was turning on and off randomly and also changing colors. Seller offered a full refund. Issue has gone away for now.

My use case for these lights may be unusual. I am a videographer and photographer for my company and in the interest of ensuring accurate colors with my edits, I’ve enclosed my cube with blackout curtains to isolate me from the artificial fluorescent lighting in the office and have used this light strip (32ft) as my overhead lighting. My specific interest with these lights are the COB continuous nature of the lighting, as well as the fact it has 5500K which is close to 5600k daylight. I have a Sekonic color meter and tested all the different color temperature modes and found them all to be shockingly close to essentially be accurate. While 3200 was slightly off, it was close enough. And the rest were basically bang on, with 5500 reading closer to 5600 which works perfect for my use case. What an amazing light strip. Not much money and meets my needs for color accuracy. These also are very BRIGHT. At 100% power my cubicle looks like it’s brightly lit with perfect color fidelity. Highly recommended 👍

re- rating this as it has been over a month now and they either shut off, OR TURN ON, whenever they want every single time i use them. 10 minutes or 2 hours, doesnt matter. nowhere near any remotes or controls and these just do what they want. either shut off, change color.. absolute garbage. well i read the reviews and did a good amount of research on these before finally just buying this one. there were a few bad reviews but every product has that. surely mine will be okay. im almost a month into owning these and they randomly shut off or change light warmth almost weekly now. i know because i will be laying on my bed reading a book, nowhere near the light remote, or touch sensor on the wall feet away (nothing is near that either). so yes they do indeed just turn off for no reason. the adhesive is another quality issue. now when i installed these, i cut away 1-2 inch strips of the adhesive protective backing, to attach every 3 feet or so. so should i need to move them, theres still plenty of usable adhesive if its not reusable. a week after putting it up i decided to simply re hang the one wall edge as it wasnt completely to the end and sure enough, the adhesive backing is good for exactly one hanging. it holds well but the minute you pull it back down and put it up, it falls very easily. so i had to cut a few new strips off the back for new sticky spots. no issues with the 2 sides i did not have to adjust. the light colors are very good. i like the variance in warmth and in brightness. and the length of the lights was perfect for my needs. i did not cut these so i have no feedback on that connectivity with the parts that come for that. and one personal complaint is i wish the individual lights werent as visible as they are when on. and honestly since mine are not hidden under anything, you can clearly tell the strip lights. kind of ugly. but thats just my opinion and not a reflection of quality. the quality problems are the random shut offs and poor adhesive on the back once you move it.

We really like these lights. Installed under 14' of Ikea cabinets to light up countertop in laundry room that also serves as a crafting area. Lots of continuous light. Sticks well to molding under the cabinets. Plugged the transformer into a switched outlet. Controller has a night light option. Comes with connectors to splice and go around corners. Good price. Highly recommend. Good value for money. Will purchase again for kitchen. Nicer light than separate LED fixtures. If the light strip was visible, I'd install in an aluminum channel. Just hoping the transformer holds up :) But so far so good.

The strips work very well and have nice features. The problem lies in the connectors when you cut the strips. There are only two in the kit which I find to be very stingy. I accidentally reversed one. Once you squeeze down on the connector that's pretty much it. Having no more in the kit, I tried reaching out for customer service......cricket, cricket, cricket. No answer at all. This is my main problem with ordering things online. You're left high and dry. I found a connector at another location, but it was slightly larger than these and didn't work. I finally ordered a whole other kit, and now have 16' of LED strip, a power supply and controller that I don't really need, just for those off-scale odd sized connectors. If not for this, I would have written a better review.

These are the ones to get out of all the options. Great product, light looks awesome, infinitely controllable as to brightness and color temperature. You can use the color temp presets or dial it in exactly to your liking. COB lights use MANY more LEDs than regular LED light strips and have a diffuser over them which gives a much nicer effect - especially when hung above a reflective counter where you will see a reflection of the lights. TIP: The self adhesive on the strip is VERY sticky, once you place it you won't be able to reposition so be careful. Instructions on splicing are pretty weak - you're given two splice strips and a couple splice connectors - with trial and error you will figure out how to connect a strip if you cut one to go around an obstacle. Be sure to cut where the diagram shows to cut.

Loved it but it would not stay on sometimes due to loose wire on junction box. Had interference with another companies controller potentially it was setting a timer on it? I don't know but it would intermittently turn off. Maybe I just had a bad go. When removing left so much white foam sticky residue on my wood furniture.

These were perfect and looked wonderful, but suddenly stopped working after about a month of use.
