Finally, an egg poacher that works
You know, over the years I've bought several devices designed to poach eggs perfectly. They never worked the way they said they would work. The eggs would stick to the device or they would leak and make an unappetizing, messy semi-poached egg. This particular device WORKS! The eggs come out perfectly every time. Cleanup is easy. And the poaching cups colors are cheerful in the morning when you're about to make perfect eggs. I love this device.

Worked for egg poaching
Used it to poach eggs in a little egg cooking machine and it worked pretty well. Egg got stuck a bit so maybe butter it first?

Fantastic!
I use these to premake little "crustless quiches" for the week. Definitely oil them with the little brush (5-6 drops will do it-I only needed to do this once for two uses). I add cooked sausage, cooked spinach, and cheese which fills the cup about 2/3 full. I then put one beaten egg slowly in (about 1/3 of the egg, stir, 1/3 stir, and final amount). Top with cheese and microwave for a minute. I put an inverted bowl over mine so it continues to firm up in the center. My microwave isn't super strong, so adjust time accordingly. I let them cool, refrigerate and reheat every morning. Fast, healthy and yummy!

In principle they work. These are NOT nonstick...
They work and I've not had problems with egg leaking but... they are NOT non-stick and if not sprayed with a cooking oil of some sort... ooof! Cleaning them is .... arrrrrgggh!

Making Poached Eggs has never been so easy
‼️ The Item: Mikim Silicone Egg Poacher Cups✅ The Good:➡️ Easy to use with consistent results➡️ Easy to clean➡️ Cook eggs in 5-7 minutes depending on how you like them❌ The Not So Good:➡️ If you use a roiling boil, the bubbles can tip the cups or launch water into the cups and ruin your eggs.➡️ If you put too much water in the pot, it can increase the likelihood of your cups tipping.➡️ The 4 cups didn’t fit in my 2.5 quart pot. If you want to cook 4 eggs at the same time, you’ll probably need to use a bigger pot. Mine would only fit 3 of them at the same time.🎬 Result:➡️ I highly recommend getting these cups if you like making poached eggs with ease with consistent results. Also, they are the perfect size for an English muffin if you want to make breakfast sandwiches.⚠️ Tips:➡️ Fill the pot with an inch of water. (When touching the bottom of the inside of the pot with your index finger, the water will go about as high as the first line)➡️ If you boiled with a high temp, reduce the boil to a simmering boil. For me, I boil at 7 (out of 10) and reduce it to a 4.➡️ Drop the cups into the simmering boil and put a small dab of butter in the cup, a few seconds later use the brush to spread around the cup.➡️ Remove the pot from the burner so the boil settles and then drop your cracked eggs into the cups.➡️ Cooking for 5 minutes leaves the yolk a little runny. At 7 minutes, the yolk is soft but not runny. This will vary for your setup but is a good guideline.➡️ Take the pot off the stove, remove the lid, and let the eggs sit until there isn’t any steam as it can hurt your hands if you try and pull the cups out while it’s still steaming. Or use tongs to grab the cups.

Don’t waste your money
The silicone base insulates the egg and keeps the base of the egg from cooking, therefore the egg cooks from the top down. This ends up with a well done yolk, not a runny yolk poached egg. I ended up throwing them out.

Super easy and made great poached eggs
The media could not be loaded. I have used these twice now and both times had success with the consistency of egg whites being cooked and still getting runny yolk. They were super yummy and I will be making these often. I saw other reviews that indicated the eggs stuck to the cups. I didn't have issues at all. I used an olive oil cooking spray. I hope others enjoy these as much as I'm sure I will. My cook time was about 7 minutes.
