This really works for me. I use it on and off when needed. I started out a few years ago. I had to use 6 with meals, now I don't have to go above 3 or 4. I will say I never want to run out.

I’ve had redness on my cheeks for a while - I tried a lot of stuff! One day I saw a YouTube video, and the person said they had TERRIBLE acne and extreme redness and they were told that sometimes that’s due to LOW stomach acid! Now that was news to me! I always suffered from frequent gas and bloating. So I thought, what the hay! I’ll try it! On another research, I saw someone recommend increasing as you go.... and when you feel a “slight burning” - reduce the dose. Presently I take 10 with my protein meal. Yikes! Guess my acid is VERY low. That’s MY number. I only have one main meal per day and only take it IF there’s protein. The idea is to decrease the dose as your stomach acid is replenished. So far, so good! The redness has decreased considerably! It’s more on the pink side! This will continue to be a staple in my life... I know I’ll get down to one tab with each protein meal soon... AND enjoy clear skin! So please do your own research (there’s tons) and find YOUR number :) PS: search low stomach acid/ acne/ redness etc

Natural Factors Betaine HCL pills are great! The reason I love them is that they are affordable and great quality. The pills are a good strength and include fenugreek which is healthy for you. Also these pills are vegan which is amazing and the pill capsule is made from great ingredients. I really love this product and I wouldn't know what to do without it. HCL has helping my stomach so much with digesting food. Without it I get heartburn and indigestion all the time. I hope these pills never leave Amazon!! By the way if Natural Factors is reading this can you make a bottle that includes more pills so we don't have to order these as often. Thanks!

I have acid reflux and really bad heartburn all the time. I take up to 7 per meal to stop the heartburn. You know you have taken enough when you feel a warm feeling in your stomach. It may only take you 2 pill depending on how low your acid is in your stomach and the pain you are having. These work really good for me. Don't take them if you have an ulcer. It will burn the ulcer and make things worse for you. If you have an ulcer try a glass of cabbage juice every day for 14 days and it should clear up. God Bless

Great product, if you have low acidity. I take 1 each time I eat. I used to get heartburn every day, thanks to this supplement it's gone, haven't had heartburn in months!! Highly recommend, but talk to your doctor or naturopath first.

I have been trying different products trying to narrow down what my problem is. I thought maybe not having enough acid to help digest the food would benefit me. Although it does help I will probably continuing using it for a while, then move onto something else.

This was recommended to me by a naturopath years ago and it’s been a life saver for me. I don’t need it every single day but when my stomach is off it definitely can help to get back on track!
