I took our foam pinch guard off so we could shut it while out one day. Then it disappeared! We have cats - need I say more? Cats are the whole reason for having it. I looked everywhere and finally ordered this to replace the missing one. Then, the day the replacement arrived I found the missing one, of course... under the couch - the land of lost cat toys. Anyway, considered sending back but I like it so much I justified why we needed the extras. It's a real upgrade from the foam one. I expect it to last a long time. Somehow it looks more intentional on the door - a professional attachment. Sleek, sturdy, able to take even a slam and not be the worse for it. If you need one - I recommend this one. If you take it off - hid it from curious kitties.

These are perfect for keeping the door open for pets. I had been using a shoe to prevent the door from closing, but this is much better. I like that it’s soft so it won’t scratch acting. Is very easy to put on and remove as needed

These door pinch guards are super practical. My whole house is white, so I really appreciate that they blend in nicely and don’t stand out. I have not seen a review yet for a true auto close, heavy door. Here's mine. I live in an apartment complex built in the 1940s. The main lobby door is Unbelievably heavy and is an auto close. My neighbors want to keep it propped open for Amazon deliveries. So I was looking for something that didn't require a lot maneuvering like a kick stand. This item is PERFECT It's very substantial in size and thickness which is great for an extremely heavy door bc it won't get crushed under the weight of it. The opening is very tight so it took some doing to get it on. Our door is about 3 inches thick!! But once on, it ain't budging! Great buy!

I don't have a child, but this is perfect for my cats. I think the quality is much better and worth the extra money when compared to the foam ones. These just seem more durable from the start (but I'll have to update in the future). I use them to make sure my cats don't get locked in a room away from their food, water or litter box as my doors have a tendency to slam shut with little gusts of wind when I leave my windows open. I have an extra one and plan on giving it to a friend when her kid is older because it seems like a great product.

These are good. i put them at the top of the door instead of the side so they dont get knocked off when walking thru the doorway. works better that way. if the door gets slammed they may pop off but otherwise good solution for keeping a door ajar without drilling or damage

Sturdy and well designed. Has antslip corrugation on the inner surface. Pliable enough to easily mount to hollow core door but hasn't budged with very active use. No adhesive needed, simply slips on and does not mar the door finish.

I had no idea these existed! I was looking for a door stop and came across this item which was exactly what I needed! Our door no longer slams shut when you open a window or the wind picks up outside. I love and my cats love that it leaves the door open a crack, without holding it in place like a door stop wedge would. Takes only seconds to remove if I want to close the door. Awesome item!
