Dropping a star because it was not obvious on the product description that you have remove the ballast from your bulb holder before you can use these! Once you rewire using their helpful diagram it works perfectly.

This bulb worked well for a project I just finished. Replaced bulb in a lamp that I took the ballast out of.

Was so tired of having to replace my bathroom tubelight every 2-3 months, condensation really kills them. Decided to look for led alternative. This bulb fit perfectly and even has adjustable angle.Installation did take disassembling and rewiring of the original lamp, but the results are worth it. Twice brighter, uniform instant-on light that I dont have to replace for decades (hopefully :)). Half the electricity of original too.If you have this type of bulb in the bathroom and able to to some basic rewiring, highly recommend getting this led light.

My ballast went on my under the counter light. I was able to buy this LED light for the cost of a ballast and it will give me a very long life. Good directions on how to rewire the lamp without the ballast. Color was just like my florescent lights next to it.

The LED tubes were a retro-fit for my standard fluorescent 22 inch T5 fixture above the kitchen sink. My fixture has two side by side tubes. I ordered these double-end input tubes because I did not want to replace the tombstone sockets at one end. I followed the enclosed rewiring instructions which bypassed the electronic ballast in my fixture. The instructions included detailed wiring schematics. These LED tubes will not work in a ballast fixture as plug-and-play; rewiring is required. Any DIYer is capable of the rewire task.

Converting from flouresant to led was easy, lights are very bright, great light

This bulb requires *destroying your existing fixture* and removing the ballast. I bought this in the hopes that it was just plug and play, because there are other options out there for replacing the entire fixture with LEDs. You need to open up the existing fixture and cut wires and essentially destroy the fixture so that it will ONLY work with this product, and will never again work with fluorescent lamps. This is ridiculous. I see now in the description that this is necessary, but it is too late. It's getting returned.

The light works great. It turns on instantly and has an even, bright, white output. As is stated clearly in the instructions, you have to wire 120V directly to the light. If you just plug it into your fixture without removing the balast, it's not going to work.
