Wooden Model - Lisboa 1/24 Tram Kit

This is a brilliantly designed and conceived kit. I would like to share a fabulous bottle of wine with the genius who worked this one out. I'm only a week in to the construction process, but it is a fantastic challenge and a fabulous way to deal with the current 'lockdown' rubbish.This is taking all my model making skills, and adding to them hugely. Thank you, Grazie Mille, Gacias, Obrigado, OcCre.Lisbon is my favourite city in Europe, I have travelled on these trams many times. Can't wait to drive my own miniature version in a few weeks (yes, I will be ordering the motorisation kit).

Makes in to a lovely model all laser cut wooden parts and very hard white metal cast fittings Not really for the 'non modeller' requires some modelling experience. Not exactly true to scale.. Mine arrived with some parts missing but an email to the occre company in Spain had spares whizzing to me.. great service..

we have not open the box yet but it looks fine,but we shall know when we have started to build it.

Still missing a sheet so I couldn't complete it over Christmas.

An excellent kit, but the instructions, though at first sight look good, are in fact quite a pain being incomplete and/or with important details completely missing. Terminology sometimes bizarre. The picture instructions likewise. The instructions assume a great deal which is not explained. Considerable modelling & problem solving skills are required. I found having a number of photographs I took of the real trams in Lisbon open on PC or ipad whilst I'm working to be a real boon.But, 7 weeks into the lockdown, and progress, though slow, is being made!
