These glasses are great. I love both the size and shape of them. We don't put them in the dishwasher just to be safe. I would recommend them to a friend.

The first thing I noticed when opening the box is that these are quite large/ tall. Much more so than I was expecting, but not necessarily a negative. They arrived very cloudy and dirty out of the box, but cleaned up nicely. They are quite attractive and have a nice, balanced appearance.One odd thing we noticed on our first 'cheers' and the tap of the glasses was that it sounded more like a 'click' than a 'clink'. In fact, it was noticeable enough that my wife and I both paused to inspect our glasses because it sounded like we just made a toast with plastic flutes. Definitely not the sound we expected, but they are definitely not made of plastic. Not a deal breaker, but will probably use a different set if we have guests and plan on making a toast.

The joy of serving and enjoying champagne is greatly enhanced by using a fine glass to hold it. These glasses are perfect for that. Seeing the bubbles rising in the champagne through these fine glasses are a site to behold. Great quality and great value.

These came just in time for my friend's high school toast. I had been looking all over town for weeks and everyone was out of stock. I wasn't looking to spend a fortune. I decided on these and am glad I did. They were packaged very well and even helped with transporting them to the party.

They arrived in perfect condition, each one safely encased within the specially made foam block inside the box. Although there were no chips or cracks in the glasses, they did arrive with a cloudy haze. Luckily, the haze washed off easily and now they are sparkling and perfectly clear, but keep this in mind if you are giving this set as a gift -- you'll want to inspect them and possibly wash them before wrapping and gifting.I chose the 7-ounce size and it is a good size for a glass of champagne; neither too large nor too small. The tapered shape keeps the bubbles rising in the glass beautifully and steadily, while also giving your nose a nice whiff of the champagne's delicious aroma with each sip you take. The listing specifies they should be hand-washed, and I agree with this. The flutes are thin and beautiful and I wouldn't want to accidentally break them. Although, these are crystal and crystal is stronger than glass, which is why real crystal stemware can have such thin, tall, elegant stems compared to glass stemware which is typically thicker and chunkier looking, since it needs the extra thickness for strength. So because these are crystal, they should hold up well, of course when taken proper care of.Overall, these are classic yet modern with clean, lovely lines. They are quite beautiful and elegant without being fussy looking or overly decorated. For a set of six handblown crystal champagne flutes, they are a good value.
