A Fun Addition to Your Kitchen
The VITUER Crinkle Cut Knife has become a good addition to our kitchen tools. Its primary purpose is to create grooves in vegetables and potatoes, and it does the job. We've used it for crafting wavy fries and cutting cucumbers, but its utility extends beyond these basic uses. It's not just limited to produce; it can shape meats and cheeses for assembling an eye-catching party platter.Straight out of the box, the knife was sharp. As for long-term maintenance, I'm uncertain about its sharpening process. I've sharpened my fair share of tough items, so I'll keep an eye on how this one holds up over time.Initially, I was concerned about its apparent flimsiness, but my worries were unfounded. The knife offers a decent handle that provides a firm grip and ample control. It's sturdy enough for most hand sizes, ensuring a comfortable and secure handling experience.Overall, the VITUER Crinkle Cut Knife has proven itself as a versatile and reliable tool in our kitchen. Its ability to transform ordinary food items into visually appealing delights makes it a worthwhile addition.

Fast and easy to use and to clean!
Do I NEED crinkle fries in my life? no.Did I want them? YES oh very much YES.This knife makes chopping up breakfast chips incredibly easy and simple. It's a perfect size, and sharp enough for fast chopping motions (a little slower with potatoes because they're big but not much slower). What's more, it's VERY affordable and washes off easy - you can see in my photo, where I rinsed half of it off. No scrubbing needed, only a moment under the tap and it was ready for more!BUT should you prefer, I tried it in the dishwasher as well and it was perfectly fine. This is worth getting for a small little twist on your breakfast taters or salad carrots. If you're strapped on space, it may not be worhwhile - though it does work somewhat as a chef's knife, if you try to saw it like you would a serrated knife it's nothing but resistance. However, it has a good price for how effective it is and if you're hellbent on crinkle fries I recommend it.

This is only OK, unfortunately. It's not sharp.
I'll start by saying I very much like the idea of this knife. I was curious how it would compare to some different designs I've seen, in the form of something that looks like a wavy dough scraper, only sharp. This item handles like a knife, not like a dough scraper. So, if you have decent knife technique, you would presumably be faster on this.In practice, I will have to figure out how to sharpen it. It's not all that sharp. And unlike a chef's knife, you can't use a slicing motion, because that would screw up your ruffle-y ridges. You just have to ka-chomp down on whatever you're cutting. What would I need to sharpen it up? I guess some little rat-tail diamond file gizmos. And the cost benefit is upside down on that. So, I will give it three stars for an idea with merit. But ultimately a stamped wavy knife is going to be a consumable of sorts, so the five star version would be this--plus delivered really sharp.

Good looking veggie cuts
My family tried to eat lots of vegetables especially as snacks. This means I'm doing a lot of chopping. My teens are starting to help too and I'm always looking for ways to encourage them. Enter this knife... It's lightweight yet sharp enough to easily make cutting crinkle-looking cucumbers, carrots, etc. The handle feels sturdy and has a very good grip. I always wondered how restaurants made veggies cut wavy like that and now I know.

Love this!
This makes fruits and veggies fun! I'm a plant food person, but I also enjoy making plain/usual foods more fun for myself. Plus...crinkle fries are just better. So when I saw this I had to grab it. It works well, cuts through raw veggies easily, and leaves you with perfect crinkle cuts. The knife is well made, the handle well attached, and it's very easy to clean (almost nonstick, if you will). I love this, it's such an easy way to spicy up plain foods and I'm really enjoying it. (So many crinkle fries have been made!)

Crinkle cut at home!
I was a little skeptical of this knife when I ordered it. I was trying to imagine how the knife would be any good for the price, and how it could be sharp with the pattern. Even when it arrived it didn't look sharp. But then I went to cut some vegetables with it to try it out and it cut very easily! Even sweet potatoes cut well. It's lightweight and easy to hold, but the top edge is a bit sharp so if you do encounter something tough to cut, then you may need a glove or oven mitt or something to protect your hand. Otherwise, it's unlocked fun new shapes for my cooking.

Crinkle Cut Veggies Made Easier
As we might all know cucumbers are probably a lot easier to crinkle cut than baby carrots but that's all I had around. We don't make french fries so I'm not really sure what I'd cut with this other than cucumbers. But as luck would have it, my kids love cucumbers so I'm all good.In this case, you can use the balance of the knife to really wind up and whack away unlike the crinkle cutters where you need to push straight down. Anyways, I'll get some use out of this. It's pretty sharp and the long edge might be worth cutting the cucumber longwise and putting in a sandwich. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.UPDATE: The feedback from my wife was less enthusiastic about new kitchen stuff but my two boys who eat a lot of veggies declared officially at dinner that crinkle cut cucumbers definitely taste better than flat cut cucumbers. So I win!
