This book is very inspirational, it shows God's work. I recommend this book to anyone. May God blees anyone reading.

This book is ideal for those whose faith is ebbing. It reassures us of the God we serve that He is still the Great I Am and will always look after His children who constantly connect with him in prayer. I have read the book twice now and have bee sharing it with others. A book of great encouragement. It is a great testimony of God's enduring care for his children

It's a must read

What can I say this was a heart felt gripping true story, I pray I can be just as faithful as this family were. Brilliant book, the faith this family had Praise God.

It is a must read. I've cried through it with shame in my heart thinking, I want my faith to be like this when I am put to the test.

This is an amazing look into the struggles of God's people in WWII and God's blessings. It is different than other WWII books I've read because Hasel was in the German army. The account of the miracles that God performed just made my jaw drop repeatedly. This is a great book!

What a powerful story of God’s faithfulness to a German family who seeked first the kingdom of God. A very good read.

I liked the description of a people who went by principle instead by what everyone else was doing and where able to help many people through it.I would recommend this book for everyone that likes to be encouraged to trust God and be proactive and brave.

Recommended for a real life faith-story loving readers. The incidents recorded inspires exercising faith in life's day to day situations.

I enjoyed this book. It’s good to read stories from other perspectives. God is everywhere. He doesn’t care what side we are on. He cares if our hearts are towards him and wanting to know and honour him. This family was looked after many times by God in the midst of impossible situations. They didn’t give up, or become bitter towards God, but cried out to God constantly when things we tough and simply declared and trusted in the goodness of God. And God continually answered their cries. They needed that encouragement. They still went through the same difficulties of their countrymen. But when it got harder and harder, they didn’t walk away from God. Rather, they hung on to God and he would always intervene in response to their prayers
