Love Bollywood

I've been wandering around Amazon, shaking my head in disbelief at some of the material I'm finding listed as a 'Bollywood' ...seriously, it should be illegal to use the term 'Bollywood' indiscriminately...anyway... was realllly pleased yaaris (friends), when I came across this one.Checked the track list, and yus!! the main hits are there..Bhoom Jharabar Bhoom, Partner, Marjaani...and so on....If you want a Bollywood Compilation, a mostly dance one, this one is for you....The track arrangement is scrambled which is a shame...but still a compilation I can seriously recommend to my friends..and DesiSisters everywhereNo suprises when I realised this was Raj & Pablo's work..have been trying to get to their London Club night for some time now ...it has a fabulous reputation, and 'No', I don't know them...and they are not paying me :)little surprised at choices from various films, thought Haule Haule would have been a stronger contender from 'Rab ne Bana Di Jodi', but...all in all, well worth the cash...and no, it will not make you wnat to go to an Indian restaurant(see earlier review)..but it will make you want to shake your tush all over the place...Please NOTE : I also consider that referring to Bollywood as 'catchy indian music' should merit prosecution too....we are referring here to the best of Indias Contemporary music scene.... ..maybe I'm just a little sensistive...but seriously!! A R Rahman is in there...! Its like referring to ....mmm..who have we got in white world ? Elton..no, Not in AR's league....mmmmmm.....Neil Simon as writing catchy little tunes (actually he did) try again....ok, for want of a better comparison, its like referring to Mozart as composer of the odd little ditty ...Enough said...I will not have my Bollywood trivialised :)Love Bollywood

I bought to different CDs of Indian music for my daughters, because they both love music and dancing around. This CD is as good as the other one great music with lots of beat to dance too. There is just one thing it is a pity that there is no translation of a kind so we could know what the artists are singing about.

This Bollywood CD has a good collection of popular bollywood songs and an ideal collection for parties or anytime.

First side; a few songs that never should have made it, second side; much better, no duff songs. Probably could have been a single cd.

Bought for BME clients at our day service great music all enjiy listening.

I was hoping that most of the songs on here were going to be like the ones they play in the restaurants. I bought it as a Christmas present for my husband but he has only played it once!
