Works well with a wide range of acoustic instruments
I've needed trustworthy, secure stands for acoustic guitar, electric guitar, mandolin, mandolin banjos, open back banjos and resonator banjos of several designs for years. I tried nearly every iteration of compact, foldable stands on the market in that time. None worked with all of my instruments until a friend recommended these. They are both lightweight and compact to transport but also adjustable in width to accommodate wide and narrow--or simply smaller and/or oddly shaped--instrument bodies. They work well with all of the instruments I use, are lightly but adequately padded in just the right places and are well made. I've had a pair I have owned for two years that I take out to playing sessions in a variety of settings weekly. They've worked so well while standing up nicely to the heavy use that I recently ordered another pair to keep a pair of frequently used instruments handy in my home music studio.

Compact, lightweight, well made / sturdy
This guitar stand fits in my briefcase along with other guitar accessories. My previous guitar stand kept falling off my gear cart because it was difficult to strap securely.

Good but not great
Recommend...if this is the style of stand you want. I'm not a big fan if these types of guitar stands but decided to give this a try. Holds an acoustic well. No issues with guitar falling or tipping. Decided to go with a hanging style for two electrics. If A frame is what you want, this stand is a good value at this price point. RecommendIf you want something sturdier that handles bumps better, take a look at Guitto Guitar Stand - Universal Portable Guitar Stand Adjustable Folding Hanging Guitar Floor Stands .

Sturdy and pretty
My daughter has been using it for 4 months for her 1/2 cello everyday. It is exactly how I thought it will be: simple, sturdy, and goes with any decor in a room.

Holds a resonator banjo
This stand is really sturdy and stable. Also adjustable for box width. Holds my Deering good time with resonator easily. Sure there is a little extra room at the base, so easily switch to an acoustic guitar. Perfect for my needs. Of course this doesn’t have neck support, so just depends on your needs or wants. And it holds picks. Two included with stand 😊

You get what you pay for
I'm using this stand for my Schecter Stiletto Custom-5 right now. It's sturdy enough if you don't mess with it. I was initially worried about it but as the weeks went on my bass stayed where it belonged and hasn't fallen off yet. The bottom of the stand goes out quite a bit to compensate for acoustic models - it would be nice if there was an option to compress it for electric models without the extra few inches sticking out. The material is solid. It's good for at home, but I wouldn't dare bring this to a show or really anything out in public. A little nudge is all it takes to potentially knock it off the stand. This isn't the "best stand" for a guitar - but you get what you pay for and for the price i'd say go for it if you're going through Amazon's delivery service. It's no Titan, but it gets the job done.

Very stable compact guitar stand. High quality construction and materials.
This is the best compact guitar stand I've found. The four points of contact with the ground and overall geometry make it very stable. Some guitar stands that have four points of contact are poorly designed in that the arms don't extend far enough forward. They end underneath the guitar body which puts the guitar's center of gravity dangerously far forward and makes it easily tipped over. On some others, the arms don't extend far enough back, again making it tippy. The frame is made of steel so it has some heft to it weighing almost 2 lbs. This also helps with the stability. The back support is 12 inches tall from the surface of the arms that support the guitar body, which is taller than many other compact stands. All the components are high quality materials and I think this stand will be very durable. I like that it folds flat and locks closed and it also locks open in any of four positions to accommodate instruments of different widths. I have another compact foldable stand that has almost the same dimensions and geometry and good stability, but many of the parts are made of cheap plastic that feels like it would break easily. The only minor negative is that it doesn't fold as compactly as some other stands do. The quality and stability make up for that for me.I bought a second one of these stands.

Excellent quality and design
When the wooden Stageline acoustic guitar stand became unavailable I needed another solution for my fourth acoustic guitar. I had seen the Heli2 before and liked the aesthetic and look, but I wanted my other stands to match.I ordered this one, and it came in two days with Prime. It’s just what I wanted to be able to display my short scale Taylor bass guitar. It’s very stable. The rubberized cork both grips the instrument and the floor. The adjustability allows the stand to accommodate a variety of instrument widths and the generous depth also allows for some flexibility in instrument size.I don’t use picks so the holders aren’t very useful to me. I will give ds the included picks.I have seen a mixture on reviews for the cork. I know it’s not like natural cork, straight from a tree. But it is very nice. I like the warm color and the surface feels nice, not sticky or gummy. But it has a slight tack to it which keeps my guitar where I put it vs, it slipping or sliding around.I have seen stands that seem to fold into a smaller package, but this one so far imho is the best combination of package size, and stability in use. I don’t feel as though there is any danger of my instrument flipping off or falling from this stand.

The best stand you can buy
I tried lots of guitar stans but they were either too flimsy or fell apart in the padded areas. These stands are perfect. I have 3. One for electric and two for acoustics. The rubber doesn't scratch your guitars and the base is steady as a rock.It folds flat so can be easily put in a soft gig bag.If you are looking for a good quality stand that will last, your search is over!

Great travel stand.
Well-designed and sturdy, and fits my 17" archtop. I'm v happy with it, but the geometry and lower total height means the guitar feels less resistant to being pushed over backwards than my heavier metal one at home. My guitar has been fine on it, so I may be worrying unnecessarily. It's perfect for taking to rehearsal, as it's not too heavy and folds super flat. Not sure I'll leave my guitar on this stand while band mates are wandering around between sets though, just in case.

Overall, a good, sturdy product.
I ordered these two stands especially because the image shows the original design, which is what I wanted.i did not get that design, I got the newer one. However, being "forced to compare, I have to say that the newer one has benefits and so I've kept them and use them, although had I known I had to have the new design I would have bought the cork covered version.I use these stands because there are no dangers from waggy dog tails or small children in my house and in the days of live gigs, they were compact, quick and reliable to put a second guitar on stage.Good product. -bad image display.

Well made, easy to use.
Well designed and manufactured product. Ideal for home use. Been using them for years with no problems. Nothing stopping you using them for gigs as they are very quick to fold flat, but as it's not the type with neck support it depends on how clumsy your hand mates are. I have several of these stands and even use them for sitting small amps on as well as guitars. Great.

Small
A lot smaller than my last case, but fits well. I don't think it as good at protecting against drops but worth the added risk for the size difference as it is now a lot handy for popping in the bag.
