Definitely would buy again
Exceeds expectations. Taste pretty good bought this for my son for his birthday cake. He has allergies of eggs, milk and nuts. Trusted this product to do the job and it turned out great. Had a couple complaints from other guest stated it was too sweet but good for vegan. I personally that it was good period its a cake what do you expect. Overall i highly recommend for vegans as well as individuals that have allergies. One bag made me a 8 inch cake.

The batter rose only slightly and cupcake wouldn't cook through. Very disappointed.
I was really sad to see these vanilla spice cupcakes flop. We live overseas where GF vegan items are difficult to find. I invested in and made all four batches of these cupcakes, following the recipe to a 'T', for my son to take to school for his birthday and they just wouldn't cook through, and were dense like hockey pucks because they didn't rise well.My guess is the mix was nearing it's expiration date. We made them on 9/7 and 9/8 and the expiry on the package was 10/19, more than a month away. Perhaps the mixes rising agents didn't pack enough punch, having sat for sometime on the shelf. We tried using the paper cupcake liners, cooked them plain in the tins and used the silicone cups as well and the story was the same...all didn't rise well, cooked too fast on top and were uncooked in the middle. We also bought the chocolate cupcake mix from The Vegan Knife at the same time and were sold a batch which didn't expire until Feb. '19 and they rose well, though cooked a just a little bit fast on top. They had a nice texture and flavor, but did badly stick to the cupcake paper liners-the cupcakes will actually crumble and fall apart in the paper cupcake liners, as did the vanilla spice ones. I wouldn't advise using cupcake liners with any of the Vegan Knife cupcake mixes. Go the traditional route using tins.I am pleased my son enjoyed the Vegan Knife's vanilla frosting which we were able to use on the chocolate cupcakes. I would only try The Vegan Knife Cupcake mixes again, if I knew they would have distant expiration dates...that's my guess as to my Vanilla Spice cupcake disaster...or maybe I just got a bad batch...My recommendation is to buy with caution.UPDATE: We stored the Vegan Knife chocolate cupcakes as mentioned above in an airtight container for a few days and oddly enough the cupcake liner paper felt a bit oily to the touch and this time was easily removed leaving the cupcake intact. So if you plan to serve these, I'd recommend allowing them to sit a few days, least they crumble to bits removing them from the paper too soon.

Amazing vegan donuts! And they’re baked, too!
Who needs fried donuts when you can purchase this cinnamon sugar mix and bake them instead? I’ve been vegan for almost 4 years and I missed baking since most recipes call for eggs or dairy, so this was a great solution. The donuts are delicious and moist. Will definitely be buying again!

Buyer BEWARE!!! This item is manufactured in a facility that processes: MILK and SOY.
I was looking for a Dairy, Soy, Egg & Nut free cake mix and found this product in Amazon. So, I ordered it with lot of high hopes even though the price is very high. But in the bottom of the bag it says: MANUFACTURED IN A FACILITY THAT ALSO PROCESSES: MILK and SOY. Please refer to the attached image. The images/description in the Amazon website didn't show up these details which is totally unacceptable. Btw, do you guys know how serious to try this product on a allergic kid? Btw, this is not returnable as well. Very very disappointed.

Ok
My mom bought this for me to give a try, because I have Celiac. This mix has kind of a planty taste. I divided it and made half of the cupcakes regular and half a spiced cake kind of flavour. I did not like the regular flavour. The spiced one was a bit better. Cake is probably one of the easiest things to make gluten free and taste good, but this one missed the bar, calculatedly set by my taste buds. That said, I got this because it was gluten free, not because it was vegan. I feel like often times baked goods that are gluten free come vegan as well, but it may be that I simply do not have a palate accustomed to vegan foods. I also found the cupcakes to be to mushy...I am not sure how to explain this, because they were fully cooked and "fluffed," but the texture was strange. This mix is ok, but not for the price. You are better off just making a cake from scratch.

These cupcakes turned out amazing! They were so easy to make with the mix. You wouldn't even know they are vegan-turned out moist and fluffy. By far the best vegan baked goods I have ever had. These allow you to stick to your dietary restrictions and not miss out on a delicious treat! I highly recommend these and will definitely be buying these again. Kudos to The Vegan Knife for nailing this cupcake mix!

Good, but pricey.
Really glad I found this cake mix, as my son seems to be allergic to everything. One package does make a very small and more flat cake. It tasted like a sugar cookie! Very good. Just wish it was cheaper as I had to buy 4 to make my son a birthday cake. Shipping was also slow. Not sure why it's considered to be a part of amazon prime if it takes a week or more to ship. Overall very please, just wish it was less expensive. Seems a little steep for the size it makes.

Really wanted to love this!
Not sure if it was the bag I got or maybe it just wasn't for me. I followed the directions and they rose fine but the taste for me was just off. I've been vegan for almost four years now and wanted to try this out. Sadly, I won't be repurchasing.
