Been using for years on generator work.This is the best design to draw up oil and coolant on big jobs where a spill can cost more than the job pays. Well worth the cost.

These work great in the garage on the occasional oil spill. I definitely appreciate having these on hand.

Way better than paper towels for absorbing and holding liquid. Worse than paper towels for wiping stuff off. Each matt is like a layered sheet with absorbent fluffy material in the middle and a less permeable layer on the outside. This means that it's slow to absorb liquids, but once it does absorb something, that liquid doesn't leak out the same way a saturated paper towel leaks liquid. These matts act in the same way I expect a girl period pad to work. I don't know if I explained that well, but these are super handy. My car started dripping power steering fluid and I've been putting these underneath to catch the drips. The hold a ton of liquid and contain all the oil without soaking through.

I bought these to have in case of oil leaks from a 30 year old diesel

I had have a really bad leak undery sink. I can't afford to get it fixed at the moment. I used these pads to absorb the water and keep the smell down until I can figure out what to do next. Did a good job at absorb the water, will order more.

Do not buy. You'll have better luck with paper towels. Want to soak up an oil leak from a vehicle. They barley got stained. The yellow one we use at work are way better.
