I just received this product and right away I had no issue getting my dog to use it. I have a 10+ year old Dachshund that was recently diagnosed with IVDD. The vet told me to keep her from too much activity and absolutely no jumping or running.But my dog is very stubborn. I have a short futon, about 1 foot off the ground and she absolutely refuses to stay off of it. When she wants on it, she's determined to get in her spot.I was very worried she would cause further pain or injury from jumping up and down off the futon, so I decided to try this product. So far it is PERFECT for her. It's exactly the right height and not too steep of an incline so she can get up and down with ease and it's wide enough that I don't worry about her falling off going up or down.It's also very soft, but incredibly sturdy so I'm sure it's better for her joints and pain going up and down. All it took was a few times holding her and "guiding" her up and down several times, then using a treat to coax her into going up and down by herself and she almost immediately got the hang of it and is using it on her own now.I've bought plastic steps previously so she could get up and down to my bed on her own. They were fine in the past but with her current health issues they aren't a good fit for her. They are too hard of a material and too steep of an incline for her to use.I'm going to give a little more time and see how this step/ramp works in the long run and if it continues to go well I plan on buying the larger version for my bed so hopefully she can continue to get up and down on her own with as little discomfort as possible and to prevent further injury.It's also extremely lightweight and easily manuverable. Overall I'm immediately impressed with this product especially at the price point. I would definitely recommend trying it for anyone with a small/medium sized dog that is injured, has pain, mobility issues or difficulty getting up or down on their own.

Great quality! Very sturdy, doesn’t collapse when my 30lb dog uses them, color is as described, height is as expected. Great purchase!

The stairs work great for our older dog. He can easily go up and down the stairs onto the couch.A seam on the cover ripped open when I was trying to install the cover. The seam was poorly sewn. It was a pretty easy fix with my sewing machine (I chose to fix it instead of sending it back).Inserting the foam stairs into the cover carefully will reduce the likelihood that a seam will open up.

My dog had major abdominal surgery, and wasn’t supposed to jump onto or off of anything for a long time. I got these steps to let her get up and down from the sofa. I like everything about them; they’re light, they have a cover that’s pretty easy to get on and off to wash, and most importantly, she will use them because they’re very stable. There are others that are inflatable; they tend to wobble a little bit and scare dogs off of them. This is very solid and makes her feel secure coming on and off of them. The only drawback is that they’re pretty large and take up a fair amount of room. But I don’t think there’s any way around that if you’re going to have a dog getting on and off of something that’s kind of high. Overall, I think they’re great and I still use them today.

Stairs work beautifully for my 10 year old Pom. It is easy up and down on the dog’s joints (no worries about jumping off bed or couch). Recommend.

These stairs are the perfect height and my little dog loves them. She was jumping from a lovesac to the bed but the sac was taking up way to much room so I got these. Lovesac has been shrunk down and these steps take up a fraction of the space. Very sturdy too

I was skeptical when I opened the small box but these were vacuum packed tightly. When you pull them from the vacuum bag they instantly start to grow to size. The cover looks great and seems durable. Most importantly my 14 year old little buddy loves it!!

Bought this for my mom's senior kitty, she put it against the cat's favorite chair, and it made life much easier for both of them. Perfect height, a gradual incline, the cover is removable and washable. Highly recommend

I bought a different set of stairs that were made out of plastic, they were a bit small for my down and they absolutly SUCKED.Then I bought these foam stairs and my small dog was able to run up and down them without issue, he even stretches on those stairs.These stairs are perfectly fit for purpose and are absolutly worth every peny if you do not want your small dog to be limping after jumping down the couch / bed.

We have a mini dachshund and these are great for her back
