SMALL PET SELECT - Natural Paper Bedding with Real Rose Petals. Rabbits, Guin...

I love this bedding, it livened up my hamsters enclosure, added soft texture and is really good for money. It looks absolutely adorable in the cage, is a decent amount for filling up at least 6 inches of a pawhut 120cm cage. Absolutely love, would buy again.

I've used the plain white and lavender bedding in the past, so thought I would try the rose bedding. Both the lavender and rose have a faint smell, it's not too strong for the animal. But does cover the mild smell a hammie has, and also masks when the girls go into heat. The flowers are also a salad for the babies; so Bertie and Rosina approve. Compared to other beddings it has far less dust and miscellaneous bits, so I can put it straight into the cage without inspecting each piece. It also adds a nice pop of colour without overdoing it. It's compress so make sure to fluff it up with your hands, and it will double in size. As it's half white; soiled sections are easy to spot and remove. Even when wet from their water bowl, the colour doesn't run much, so the white and coloured sections stay distinct.

Not bad for the price I think the hedgehog is happy with his bedding 😁

My guinea pigs have this on top of pads and under hay. They love foraging for the rose petals and it keeps things smelling fresh! There has little dust. However, with it be expensive go easy and use on top of paper pellets and puppy pads. Or fleece/bamboo liner. You can scrape it away when soiled and carry on the clean.

I brought this for my dwarf hamster it is lovely and comfortable for her and it looks cute. It is expensive but it does last a long time and it’s worth it in my opinion as I’m only changing a part of the bedding each clean out.

The fragrance of lavender is my favorite, and I have been buying back this one. It's very good. Highly recommended!

My rabbit loves this bedding and it absolutely helps with odors.

They popcorn with excitement when its being changed and love foraging for the rose petal buds in the bedding itself. They even wheek when I'm storing the bag. It does have a rose scent and is good for odor control. It arrives direct from the company in a couple days Its no more or less cost effective that and other paper bedding out there (unless you're really getting some cheap stuff which in my experience has a lot more dust) what it does have is actual flower petals, minimal dust, and it really is very soft!!

Lavender is one of my top three favorite scents, so of course I chose this one when making my purchase, however it is a bit overwhelming even for me, and especially too much for putting in my rats cage as a bedding staple. But I found that if I used it as an accent to their plain white, unscented variety then it helped to make things smell nice, and look so pretty with the bits of purple pieces, but not irritate my rats sensitive senses. The bedding itself has a nice absorbency, which I quickly learned when I overturned a water bowl onto it when I was putting it in the cage. It fluffs to a HUGE amount when taken out of the compressed bag. You don't need much to fill the bottom of their cage with a fluffy foraging base, (and as I mentioned above, I mixed mine with mostly unscented white bedding, then added a hefty handful of this lavender scented bedding.) Great value for the money, one highly condensed bag of this bedding will last my rattos for a very long time, even with weekly clean ups and top-off and monthly deep cleaning and replacement. I would buy it again, and actually I have bought more of Small Pet Select brand of beddings since buying this lavender one.
