The camera when fitted is unobtrusive and fits well within the car. The video quality is not bad. That, I'm afraid is where the good stuff ends!The item description states that the device is supported by Android and ios apps. This is not true. The android app does not exist in the google play store. If you download the app using the QR code on this page you are confronted with several Android security warnings when you try to install it, and when you have it doesn't work at all. I installed the Apple app to a device running ios 12. This connects to the camera and allows you to adjust the basic device settings but does not facilitate anything else. You cannot view or download any video recordings so to do this you need to remove the memory card to put in another device. This requires very long fingernails or a pair of tweezers! I note from the Apple store that the app was last updated 3 years ago and is incompatible with any ios newer than 12.In short, if you are happy with a device that looks good in the car at the expense of any functionality then this is fine. If however, you want a state of the art dashcam with an interface to your mobile devices then look elsewhere. The money this costs will buy a much more functional stand alone device.
