Great steam cleaner with a few improvements to last model,it is the third Vax steam cleaner we have had over the years,simple to use and very efficient, can't imagine being without it,great multi purpose machine.

Overall, I’m really pleased with this steam mop. I’ve used it a few times now and it does a great job – my floors come up really clean and fresh each time. I’ve even used it on my oven, and it worked really well for that too, which was a nice bonus. It’s not completely perfect though. It can be a bit fiddly to use, especially when you’re getting used to it, and the detergent tank doesn’t seem to work consistently – it’s a bit hit and miss, which is slightly frustrating. Pros: • Cleans floors really effectively • Versatile – works well on other areas like the oven • Good overall results Cons: • Slightly fiddly to use • Detergent tank can be unreliable Overall, a great cleaning performance, just a couple of small improvements needed.

Really easy to set up and easy to understand how to use, the different attachments really help with any type of job & its pretty light weight and easy to put away when done with.

Switch broke within minutes. I have a strong suspicion this was a refurbished unit. 1. The box was tatty, with an disproportional amount of tape, going over previous tape. 2. The water container had condensation in the container, as if it had been used, and not dried out. (was water put in to test it after repair?) 3. Water marks on some of the tools. 4. Power switch in the ON position. (every product i have bought, the switch is always in the off position for safety) 5. Additive switch set on Max. 6. Steam switch set to on and Max. 7. Generally minute debris on the machine. as if been thoroughly cleaned but not factory clean. Sent back for a refund. I wont be buying it again.

I have this since one year but barely use it for 2 reasons: - Its very heavy and has a cord attachment - its complicated to use (set up, refills) While this steam mop actually does what its designed for, its too cumbersome to use. First of all being quite heavy to a standard hand held vacuum, secondly being corded with a heavy long cord. It has 2 boxes to fill with water and cleaning liquid. The shape is funny and difficult to put back together. It has 3 switches for on/off which i find confusing. The steam doesn't come out unless I squeeze a trigger on the handle, adding more stress on my hand while using it. I tried looking for videos explaining how to use it but I found none. I feel like this is a device from the 90s in terms of difficulty of use. I am likely to sell this and fond something more user friendly

Very capable doing the basic job of cleaning tiled and stone floors (which is all I've used it for so far). Comes with so many tools for other jobs that I haven't yet used, so can't comment on those. The heavy duty red/blue pad supplied is good and absorbent. Doesn't get 5* from me because the trigger handle is a bit thin and therefore uncomfortable to hold for long periods. Also, a bit more fiddly to fill and refill than other (admittedly, less capable) machines that I have used, partly because of the extra tank for detergent solution. The instructions printed on the various components do help to ease this. I'm happy with it, though, as it makes a boring job less tedious ...
