Good starter MCU to get familiar with the STM platform
Good starter pick in my opinion. There is a fair amount of information out there to help the learner.

But keep in mind you can buy direct from st, and it's usually a bit cheaper if you split up the shipping on several items.

Awesome board.
Very small power usage, good ADCs and DACs. I used Mbed OS to develop it and it was very simple. Got blinky example functioning in couple of hours. Communicates reliably through virtual USB COM port at 115200 baud.

Great board
I bought this board to experiment with some of the STM32 products and found it to be fun to play with. I do find, however, that the STM32 Cube Programmer has a steep learning curve and although they provide plenty of examples, they don't include Cube MX projects along with the C++ code.

Works as expected. This is not a simple Arduino board though.
It's nice I can get such a specialty item quickly through Amazon. It programs OK with the ST Micro STM32CubeIDE environment, which has quite a learning curve if you aren't familiar with it. This is not a simple device, it is very configurable in many ways. Maybe by now it could also work with Arduino IDE using the right library and maybe not, but I would not presume a smooth experience if you try that route.
