Q: does the case come with the original charging cable?

There is a charging cable that comes with the Mophie Juice Pack. Works great. I have been very pleased with my Mophie. I am charging it tonight for a day of running navigation on my phone tomorrow. Have done this multiple times since I got it several months ago and have been very happy with how well it works. It fits my phone well and although it does add some weight and bulk to the phone, it is still pretty slim.

Q: My phone won't fit (yes, I know how to insert one..this is my 2nd). Is it OK to remove the back of the phone to get it to fit?

Is your phone a galaxy Slll. I love mine and it fit just fine. No need to take the back off. It just slides right on in. The top of the Mophie pulls off and the phone will slide right in.

Q: Would I be able to fit a protective case over my galaxy s3 with the juice pack on?

I was wondering the same thing before I received my Mophie. Now I realize that the Mophie Juice Pack is a protective case cover and a battery charger. I do have a protective shield over the front of my screen and it fits perfectly with the Mophie.

I found over time my Mophie ruined the charging port on my phone. Fortunately, I had coverage thru my cell phone provider and it was replaced at no charge.
