This worked. I leave my car sitting during the winter. I don’t have access to power for a trickle charge or a place to take my battery to do a trickle charge. This did exactly what I needed it to do as an alternative.

Used for maintaining batteries to my motorcycle and boat! Great unit, my first impression!

Despite the statement below, clamps are metal & WILL likely corrode fairly quickly.....& the mfg certainly knows copper is the "durable" and "long lasting" clamp. I am sure the wiring is likely copper."The battery charger comes with durable copper clamps to securely connect to the battery terminals for efficient charging.
