I got these to use on a mare who doesn't like being curried. As she likes being petted and brushed, I figured the problem was that the curry comb is too hard, but other softer tools I've tried also have met with her disapproval. She loves these gloves, so problem solved. She gets all relaxed and happy and sometimes falls asleep. They're quite effective in loosening up dirt and they're really great for places where currying doesn't work so well, like her legs. And you can use them wet for bathing.They're a little big though. I got the small, and I'm a 7.5 glove size and find them too large. So I'd advise sizing down.

I purchased this to help in my long haired cats' grooming schedule, not as a substitute for the weekly brushings so for what I need it for its prefect! I have a Norwegian forest cat so that means lots and lots of shedding. This is a very helpful tool for me. The only thing to mention was that they had a very strong rubbery/chemical smell right out of the box but after hanging them outside for a day the scent was gone. So overall I'm quite content.

These gloves work really well. I have a Great Dane and they work well even on his short hair. He thinks he special and getting a massage. He comes running every time he sees these in my hand.I have small woman hands and got the small size. They are a smig big on me.

These are by far the best grooming gloves I have purchased! They slick the hair right off the horses and on a gentler note, the dogs like them as well! I like the breathable back and the Velcro wrist straps! I ordered small and they are a tiny bit big but nothing I can't manage. Great Product!

I have an American Eskimo - dog with long white hair and double coat. These gloves work very well for grooming and shedding. They do cause a small amount of static (at least the times that I have used them). Much much easier to clean than a dog brush - the hair comes right off and you can continue the process.

These are just ok... they don’t work as well as a curry comb on my horses, and really my regular gloves basically can loosen hair just as well. Not worth the money.Also, I got a small and they’re definitely like a men’s medium, so that was disappointing.

These gloves are amazing. I have a small dog that has extremely dense hair & sheds like it's 5 dogs & these gloves take the hair off 10X better than any brush I've ever tried.

Two very happy fur babies that wouldn't let me near them with a brush before! Now when they see the gloves they sit in anticipation waiting for their turn. Definitely worth the purchase!
