This has been edited since my first review - now that I've been using it for a few weeks I have more to say :) . Also, this is an real review - I found this tape ON MY OWN on Amazon after lots of research into trying to find the best tape. I hate fake reviews....I was really hesitant to try this since it had NO reviews, and there were so many BAD review about every single OTHER product I looked at. But because this was so much wider than the other tapes out there, and bright clear colors and fonts, I decided to give it a shot. Turns out it's exactly what I was looking for. I'm using this primarily to label boxes - not tape them shut. But it works just fine for taping them shut also.Pros:Seems to stick really well to my boxes. I do have mostly UHAUL boxes, because when I researched boxes I learned that recycled boxes like at Home Depot and Walmart repel any type of tape you put on them (because of the dust). Tried with a couple of used amazon boxes and worked fine there also.Bright colors - well except Family Room and Master bath are as shown.Complete opaque.Looks like it would fit well in a dispenser (I didn't try that though).Big and visible.LOTS of tape on these rolls. Puts some of my regular plain tape rolls to shame. I don't feel like I have to dole it out carefully - I just use it for labels on at least 4-5 sides of each box.Good thickness - Seems about as thick as UHaul packing tape or a bit thicker. Thinner than Gorilla shipping tape. Maybe about the same as Duck brand shipping tape.Cons:2 of the rolls were REALLY hard to get the roll started. The tape was very thin and was tearing to bits. I was seriously worried/annoyed, and started being very careful about pulling the tape off straight of every roll. Turns out it was just the very beginning of those two rolls, and after that it was fine -peeling cleanly with no tearing whatsoever. And much much thicker. We use a scizzors to cut it because you can't tear it with your hands. Most of the other rolls had a starting tab, which also made things easier. We are now in the crazy last minute oh my goodness where did the time go stages of packing, and this tape is easy to start and roll out fast without alot of effort. Not sure what was up with the first couple feet of the two rolls.No tape for Garage, Storage or Attic, Basement, Heavy or Bottom, Fragile or Do Not Stack. I'd buy them all!!The Master Bath and Family room tape colors are two similar dull colors. Would be better if one was something brighter - like teal, orange, maroon, forest green, black, or yellow maybe.I started with Bedroom 3 to test, and then bought the 8 pack. I will come back with an update if I have any issues with the tape coming loose or anything. And I will NOT use this on any furniture, as it is too sticky to peel off things like that. Assume it's "permanent" unless it's on a cardboard box.

I wouldn't go so far as to say "extra strong". It's thin tape, and could not be used for the bottom of a heavy box. I even had trouble with it sealing a very full box (kept popping open) that regular clear packing tape did fine with. But it sticks well to the box after I've taped it up with real packing tape. I'm just putting a strip across the top to help everyone know what room each box goes in, and handwriting some details about what's inside on the top of the box. It's a good variety, and a really smart concept.

This is a great tape set for moving boxes. It's not just a long moving room label, it can be used to seal the boxes as well. I am very impressed with how well it holds the cardboard boxes. Getting it off the roll is a tug because of the strong adhesive and super loud. My cats think it's a vacuum on a roll. I wish the colors were a bit more unique as the dark purple, gray, brown and navy look very similar. An orange or yellow would help distinguish the box labels easier. Overall I would absolutely purchase this again the next time I move.

This tape worked just as expected! I wouldn't recommend for actually sealing boxes (especially the bottom), but it's perfect for a quick and easy-to-spot label. It made unpacking our truck so smooth. I put one strip on top of each box/bin, and one around each of two opposite corners. We also used it to label a lot of our furniture (though be careful about putting any tape directly on some furniture pieces!). If I had any complaint, it would be that I wish orange and yellow were also used instead of the dark blue and the brown, to make the colors more distinguishable.

Loved being able to group my boxes with this tape by room name and color code. . Really made my move easier at destination, by being able to look for a specific colored tape on a box -vs- trying to read through the tons of identical boxes that were stacked in the garage. The rolls are fairly ample and stick better than many shipping tapes...though it did start to lift some in storage. They could use more room label variations, but overall- I liked this tape and would purchase again.

This tape made our move so much more organized. When packing it allowed me to easily sort and keep all boxes for the same rooms together. On moving day, the tape made it really easy for the movers to see where everything needed to go without having to do much shuffling around of boxes. I do wish that an option of "bedroom 4," "garage," and "basement" was available though. We ended up buying two different patterned masking tape for bedroom 4 and basement and garage was anything left without tape. We did not use this tape to seal boxes, we used regular packing tape for that and then ran this tape up one side, across the top, and down the other side of each box.

This tape wasn't very good. It didn't come off roll easily, and when it did, it usually tore in areas not intended. After using some of it, I went back to the normal packing tape, and a marker.

This tape is fantastic. We just used it to ID boxes...not as the primary tape. But it gives a great visual reference when you are moving fast and it helps the movers tremendously. Plus, I made signs using the tape to help movers (and us) identify the right rooms to match the tape. Love it. Would love to see an add on - Garage.
