MacBook Pro 15 - Late 2003I use Usb C charging all over my desk and wanted to get a simple cable to charge my MBP.First time around I tried a 165w brick (USB C Charger Block 165W Fast Type C Charging Station Hub 65W by Boxeroo) that I bought on Amazon. It would start to charge but then go off and on. My screen would dim each time it it would get very annoying very quickly.Second attempt was using a 320w Brick (Aluminum Alloy 320W USB C Charger Block 7 Port Fast Charging Station, 65W USB C Laptop Charger by Mekiojeo) and it worked like a dream.So if you have a few brick laying around I highly recommend this cable but be prepared for frustration if not.

Bought 2 of these adapters over a month ago. Works fine w Macbook Pro 15" mid 2010 and also 13" Early 2011 Macbook Pro. I keep them plugged in and charging 100% of the time.Pros: works w USB-C which will be the gold standard USB very soon. Smaller and lighter than original MBP charger. Fits nicely in laptop case when I travel. Works well.The adaptor description says you need to 【Provide Correct Power】You must use a 20V/3A 60W or above Type-C charger, otherwise the adapter will not work. So I purchased this charger: AMEGAT 140W USB C Charger, PD3.1 PPS 3-Port Fast GaN III Laptop Wall Charger, Foldable Plug Power Adapter for MacBook Pro 16'' at the same time (search for those words to find the same one). The charger has 2 usb-c ports in the charger as also have a Macbook Pro 13" early 2011 and this adapter works with that model also.Also at the same time purchased 2-pack of 100W USB C to USB C Cable 2Pack 6.6FT Silicone USB C Cable 5A USB Type C Fast Charging Cable with LED Display because they are nerdy and let me know how much power is being drawn.Installed OCLP Open Core Legacy Patcher v1.5 on both laptops which allows OSX Sanoma 14.5 to run on both of these older legacy systems.

I've owned three of these so far. The first one crapped out after a month, the second is still working after another few months, and I have a third as backup.I love what these do: allow a suitable USB-C charger to power my MacBook 2013. I hate that there isn't a higher quality option from Apple or Logitech or something.For now this is working for us. YMMV.

It has a deeper "foot" than Apple factory original, so it's less fiddly to drop it in there and get a good connection on my old Macbook Pro (which sometimes may have fuzz in the socket / stuff stuck to the magnet). Its terminals seem to make more reliable contact. Also the wider head is easier to orient with my fingers than the old L-tip, and mb easier to repair if I crush it and have to attempt a fix.It also negotiates power / lights up / begins charging *immediately* instead of Apple's 2-second delay, though that may be due to the new charger (Anker 737, wowzie).Says it'll carry 100 Watts, and definitely carries the 85 that my machine draws. Nice attached velcro cablewrap too; nice fabric-y outer skin.(This one has the reversie light colors, green when charging and amber when full.)
