Great for assisting with silicone sealant removal
This is a great quality addition to removing old silicone sealant if used appropriately. Remove as much sealant with sharp blade first. Then apply this with the built in brush Easy to apply and no odour , or mess as brush is built into the lid. Leave for at least 20 minutes. I wiped off with old cloth. Clean area with cloth and white spirit and leave to dry. Gave perfect base to give a durable new application

Well worth a punt for the money.
Ignore the know-it-all pensioners. Forget the 'it smells' brigade (it doesn't). In my experience, this stuff made it significantly easier to remove the remnants of silicone sealant. Use wd-40 to get rid of the bulk of the silicone (a particularly good video online demonstrates that it is at least as good as the dedicated removal products). Brush this Zep stuff on and leave it overnight. The job becomes much easier. The silicone doesn't just wipe off, but (in my case) didn't need to be carefully scraped off with a knife either. I used a screwdriver wrapped in a tea towel and it came off surprisingly easily. If you aren't relishing your silicone removal job, I'd say this Zep stuff is definitely worth a punt for eight quid.

Worked well. Leave on longer than specified and it works really well. Easy to apply with the brush enclosed.

It actually works!
When I purchased I was sceptical this product would work. Very pleasantly surprised to find out it did! You still have to get the majority of the old silicon off but it does remove the remainder.
