Good for the price- Not all units emit the same light color
This is an *initial* review after having received TWO of them yesterday. I will edit my review later should anything change...Straight up, FOR THE MONEY these lights are worth a shot. Individually they do what they're supposed to do, light an area with two adjustable "antennae". These lights have two LEDs and pushing the switch multiple times will take you to turning one on, then adding the second, the both off. So, essentially they work as intended. There are some minor negatives that should be mentioned. As I bought two of them to light music that can cover two adjacent music stand's worth of music, the first thing that drew my attention was that the COLOR of the each unit was slightly different from the other. A bit disconcerting at first. One unit had a bit of a green cast, the other a bit more magenta. Actually the magenta cast was kind of pleasing, but definitely not the same color as the other unit. If you're only buying one unit then it shouldn't make any difference. The second issue is that you have to make sure the batteries are seated fully down. I use Amazon AAA's and had to push them down. Getting the cover back on was tight, but it did make for a snug fit where the batteries won't shift. Lastly, the switches on top of the LED modules were a little hard to find by feel. It will take me some practice to be able to use the switches quickly which I have to do sometimes in a theater situation. One other positive thing... Since I've purchase two units, I can aim the individual light modules so that my music gets relatively even corner to corner coverage with minimal light falloff. One unit should be sufficient for reading a book. But if the music spans 17 inches across and you're bothered by falloff like I am, I suggest two units. You can run them on one LED per module head if it's too bright, but the coverage is excellent. The package comes with a 5v adapter so you can use any type of batter or device that you charge your phone with, but I suspect that the AAA batteries will run these lights a long time before requiring replacement.Should you buy this product? Why not? For the price they are a very good value. I've got a more expensive "hammerhead" LED light that I spent $30 (on sale) and suspect two of these will do just as good a job, maybe better.

Everything & a little more than expected.
Everything I could want. There are two brightness settings on each light head. There's a pad to protect whatever you clip against (so you can put it on the screen of your laptop). It takes 3AAA batteries if you're traveling without a USB connection. With those batteries in, the weight is such that you can put it flat on a table over a document. But it's otherwise too lightweight, so it must be clipped on something if no batteries.Only disappointment? My treble-clefs are both black. :)

Worth it!
Love this! I got it for our baby’s infant carrier so I can see him at night when I’m riding in the back. Love that each light has two brightness settings. That really helps out!

Ok for the low cost. Use as backup. No main event here.
Battery cover broke, had to tape together. Never got the recharge going. Didn't want to buy rechargables when it's breaking in first few hrs. Needs a better diffuser. Bright and too localized.

Good lighting
I like the lighting but, the clip is rather bulky. Works good.

Dangerous!
This little lamp got really hot as soon as I put batteries in and turned it on. It got hotter until I popped the batteries out. I feel pretty sure it could have started a fire.
