I have paid much more for smaller rods and these are just as good. They have always preformed when needed, never any issues. I will buy them again.The size of these are great for Scouts, the kids are able to hold them much easier than the little tiny ones you can buy. It makes a big difference when they can light a fire for the first time with just a few tries instead of getting frustrated.

I own over 50 Firestarters, including this one. I've paid as much as $80.00 for a ferrocerium rod before, and usually you get what you pay for in regards to ferro rods, but these rods made me eat my words, they are just amazing..... I won't buy another high dollar rod again..... Satisfied customer right here.

I bought this rod because of it's length and diameter. At first I was disappointed because the picture makes it look like you aregoing to receive 2 rods and they only send you one. I decided to give it a fair shake so I took it out and worked with it and itshowered the fire with sparks and started a fire no problem.Of course, the first thing you want to do is scrape off the coating that are always on these rods at manufacturing. But it worked fine for me.I also got my rod early, like 10 days early. I don't disagree with anyone that has to wait for 45 days for any purchase. That is ridiculous.

Second time ordering.

45 day delivery is unacceptable. This should have been disclosed. I would never have purchased.I cannot, will not, ever recommend this item.

el producto es bueno y de buen tamaño, los hay mas gruesos pero este esta muy bien, no le puse 5 estrellas por que el envió tardo mucho mas de lo señalado (1 mes mas)

Traveled on slow boat from Asia but worth the wait. Good value compared to equivalent firesteels. Easy to grip, sparks a-plenty and has the important lanyard hole. Illustrated as two firesteels but do not skip the fine print.; you will receive one rod.

This Ferro Rod is a monster and exactly what I ordered,I used back of my Mora Light My Fire 🔥 and sparks ⚡️ are sparkling like crazy 😜..If you buy one of those you're set for life and there's lanyard hole so you don't loose it..People complain about slow shipping,,well it comes from China 🇨🇳 what do you expect,,soooo I do recommend this product..
