This does the job. BUT, it is hot. There is no ventilation holes. The visor IS dark, almost too much. Ear protection is not as good as I need. The right one never gets down well enough to shut all the noise off, but reduces it well (You do not sweat under the ear protection). The thing you should use to raise hearing protection up??? Not sure why they put that on. I like the knob in the back to tighten/loosen the head band is great. It is cheap made, but will last if cared for. I drilled 8 holes in the helmet for air circulation. I saw some hat fans which may work to draw air out or push it in. May try that. Saw them on cloth wide brim hats, one on each side. This helmet weight is not a problem, but I wore flight helmets, riot helmets, motorcycle helmets all my life during my different phases of my life. Even with the shield, wear safety glasses.

This helmet covers all the safety requirements for my job. It works great!

I got this to take down two trees on my property. I didn't need a professional one so this one did the trick. The mesh helped keep branches and dust away from my face while the helmet itself protected me from small limb scratches and bangs. The ear muffs were a little tricky one didn't stay open all the time so I just opted to leave them out and above the helmet line, when i used the gas saw I brought them down with ease. I didn't need to use the clear plexiglass face cover so it just sits in my garage for now. The stickers are important if you're in the street or to he seen by others in case of an accident but my grandkid thought it would be fun to put them all over the helmet.

I was disappointed to discover the ear protection is locked in place and can't be removed. It's so tight that the ear cups force my glasses against the sides of my head so hard that I worry the stems might get bent.

I have purchased a couple of brush cutting helmets, and I am really happy with this one. The Tooliom helmet is light, but durable and solid. The ear muffs cut noise well, and are comfortable to wear. They retract easily for taking the helmet off, and slide into place easily for use. The face screen is very nice, protecting from most all debris that is thrown from my weed wacker (and there is a LOT), keeping my face and eyes protected. I would recommend this helmet to a friend, or buy more when I need them.
