Did exactly what I'd hoped it would.
I was looking for an inexpensive way to pad the edge of a glass table for when my infant grandson was learning to walk. I slit this foam tube then slipped it over the edge of the glass when he came to visit. It worked perfectly while he was visiting. It may not have been the intended purpose, but it sure did the trick!

Wire covering
The house inspector recommended this to cover the condenser wires to my air conditioner. He said this would save us money as it gets very hot where we live and air conditioner has to cool through these wires. It worked great and was super easy!

No precut slit
Many, if not most foam pipe insulators of this type have a pre-cut slit so the tube can be opened and easily installed around a pipe. This product does not have such a slit. The installer must cut the slit with a razor blade or similar tool if installing it on an existing pipe.

Not 6 feet
Not 6 feet as advertised. 3 inches short not worth returning will keep it.

This fitted my guitar stand fairly well. The thickness is bigger than the original, but it still works nonetheless!
